It was the big bike week in Galveston a couple weekend ago. We were down in the area and I watched a crusty old drunken Harley dude go ripping out of the parking area while turning left onto the main strip. Fool started to lowside, got off the gas momentarily and stood it back up before getting on the gas and kept the momentum going into a highside but I'll be damned if the dude didn't just motor through it and keep slip-sliding down the road without wrecking.

I swear he died twice but nope.

I was impressed and disappointed at the same time.

I know, I know, but I just can't do that. Something about ethics, yadda, yadda, and morals, blah, blah.

We've been lucky with the tenants we have. Treat them well and they treat the place are staying in well in return. Or, at least for now, anyway.

I wanted to get more into the rental business, but now I'm not so sure anymore. We'll keep the places we have now, but I don't think I want to acquire more of them. I want to try something else. I don't even want to be an engineer anymore, to be honest.

As for how many places- we have three doors, not including our own.

Saw a vid recently of a rider who slid under a big rig.. really freak accident. Brains hanging out.. splattered everywhere.

I just fooking with you, don't be a slumlord. I'll say this.. my brosef worked for GE (part of their gruesome exec program.. path to CFO camp). He left, grinded it out in real estate for a few years, then became a broker and started his own business. During that time he acquired properties, managing them, selling some when the time was right.

Anyways, in less than 8 years, millionaire.. still running the office, but he made a goal to get a solid foundation beneath him. I'm sure his real estate business alone is doing millions in business revenue every year. But it's his properties that really put him in the fuck you money zone.
