Albeit, going home later probably helps with traffic on a Friday afternoon...most people probably left early with the snow anyhow...should be empty roads mostly when I leave later.

Cul0 is actually the funniest guy on here!
Remember when he was all like "blah blah blah, forums are for da cocksuckers, I hate them"
and then recently he listed AZ ramblings as one of the shining moments in his day.
Glad you're here to stay...Gary and N1hilcock could take a page out of your rhyme book.

No, but if you guys can tell me why my slave cylinder is squeaking so badly, Iz be grateful!
I re-greased the master plunger with urea...then removed the slave and cleaned/greased the tranny fork and the inner push area of the push pin with urea but it didn't change...still squeaking. Fuck.
I did notice that the head of it that presses into the fork had a weird dimple on it, presumably from wear...sanded that smooth but left the entire thing bare metal...wondering if the oem coating on it is what keeps it from making noise. Can the transmission fork itself squeak?

Is it maybe coming from within the helper cylinder (check your privilege with that "s-word" nonsense)? Like just from the piston/cup sliding against the inner cylinder bore?
I think it was my old 240sx that always had a crunchy-squeeky type noise from the helper cylinder. Never bothered to do anything about it because I figured it was just a "they all do that" feature.
The trucks on my skateboard do the same thing when the pivot cup bushing wears out. Some of the cheaper hangers have flashing on the ball that wears out the cup prematurely. Solution is like you did, clean up the ball and use a new pivot cup bushing and maybe some Teflon lube. /CSB
There are only so many parts that move in the clutch system. The fork pivots, so presumably it is possible to develop a noise.
Does it occur over the length of the pedal stroke (TWSS) or just in a range?

Yes, I was joking about your Privilege™.
Yes, I still can't be brief.
TL;DFR: have you identified exact scenario it makes noise? Is there a range of clutch pedal travel or the whole stroke?

You did miss the knife fight. Oh, and there was that broken beer bottle stabbing incident. It's now a homicide. There was the 3 or 4 dead hookers found and a robot has gone missing. Just like any other 24hr period.

Hey Joe, thanks man...
No, it's not coming from the master cylinder either...and I lubed up the entire slave cylinder points where it WOULD be making noise but it didn't help.
Found this...wondering...
tomorrow, I'll take a closer look. Should have researched it while I had the stupid slave cylinder off today although with the mightyvac...bleeding was a cinch.

^^^ that's what I was thinking.
My thought on the range of motion is like you said, to help rule out where it's coming from and what condition (I.e. *what* is moving only when the noise happens).
So if you can identify what range it happens in, you or a helper can look under at the moving parts to see what it is. Although with such a short displacement of the slave piston, it might be difficult to discriminate (lol) between piston and fork motion.
But I guess through process of elimination, you got to the same thing. I bet that fixes it and you'll find the fork and the pivot ball pin inside the housing are nice and worn.

Yep...gonna make a DIY for the garage that encompasses greasing all the parts!
Found it, fixed it!
It was the fork...the boot had torn unbeknownst to me...which makes sense because when it was wet or humid out it would get worse...because of the rust on the ball end. I tie wrapped it back out of the way and used a syringe to get some grease under it. Problem solved.
