My Mother is my Dental Hygienist and she predicted (and was right) about my mouth changing after 30...
Now i have to floss all the time and do the gum massager thingy and brush all the time.

Mom forced me to take one of these flu shots for swine or aviary flu I don't recall. I didn't die, but I'd lie if I said I thought it was necessary. Has anybody actually benefited from flu shots? I get 2 colds a year, when winter starts and when winter ends and that's about it.

Not sold on the flu shot. I don't take it and barely get sick while my coworkers swear by it are sick twice a month.

I got asthma too, but last time I checked (when I was a kid) I was on the threshold for inhalers. I prefer to ride it out, karate used to trigger lots of asthma attacks though. When I get a cough it's mostly bronchi noise you hear and some wheezing but nothing too bad.

That's what I'm thinking. Not saying crabs ain't healthy or anything but maybe I'm less prone to these things somehow. I don't feel like the 2 colds I get a year are really worth a flu shot.

Plus yeah, flu != common cold as justn said.

I on the other hand get it and get hit hard, i'm sick in bed for a week, cant eat or drink.....body aches, fever, the fucking flu...


most of the times, its from touching my face after i touch something with the flu virus on it.
other times, its airborne.
