LOL..."tried, tested, and true"
IMO, if it ain't broke...and it's making over 300 to the wheels...why bother? I don't know...

maybe throw a little research at some boosted j series instead? from factory? Like the RDX (USED TO BE!! learned something new)

Shame the rear end is that ugly.
It's slow in a straight line, doe. I bet only 1% of Rs will ever see a track anyway.

What happened / why has everyone been so hung up on the V lately? I must have missed something.

Edit: I think C&D did 0-60 in 5.3. Not bad. But it's a drivers car...like the s2000.

Eh it's alright, they keep the car small light and nimble, I just wish they applied the principles to V6 cars more often. Like hey, who doesn't like the 3.0T in the Audis?

werd werd.. plus in a real race in the straights.. everyone on that ass. Get back in the line motherfucker! Sure it can carry speed through corners but a lot of good that will do when you're in traffic. It's a cool hot hatch, I like it.. but don't think you're going to kill everyone on the street or win track races with it.. time trial maybe, but real racing with modified hatches / miatas / s2ks.. it's not going to be beastly. Especially not against even stock big boys unless it's on a short track with plenty turns.

Starting to become more affordable, for starters. Even I'm back & forth on jumping ship from Acura for a V

Well you know, no replacement for displacement blah blah blah.

Anyway, nurburing-ready car is fucking atrocious on the street. Forget comfort in the streets.

My ass needs pampering now, I'm thinking of RLX next.

Yeah, it will shine in the corners, but, I wonder how many folks will have the balls to actually push it as hard as Honda did around the ring. That car was fucking flying.

Honestly, who even gives a shit. It won't come within 10,000 miles of North America, anyway.

I'm not going to spout off belittling someones car or dream car. I just don't remember the V being part of the convo before and now it is everyday.

Indeed they have become more affordable.

And if it does it's going to be soft, mushy and slower. Blame California or something.

OMG such funny news today

Man tried to buy a guy gun from someone. Holsters it in his pants. Shoots off his penis, blames it on a non-existing black guy.

Another guy in SF was too impatient to wait for a truck to make its turn at an intersection. Decides to walk under the truck and then gets ran over and dragged a few feet.

Right, because Honda has never dropped or delayed something at the last minute.

I'll get excited for it once I see one in a showroom here. Until then, fuck Honda.

Are you new to AZ? Everyone shits on everyone else's dream/personal car. You're not following forum rules

Pretty sure it's cause I had gotten interested in the V (moreso due to all the V purchases in Bob's thread and Majofo having one) and seriously considered it and as you know, I never STFU about stuff and kept bringing it up and researching...

all the while, other people with actual balls were buying them up. At least 2 have been purchased since I started whining about it.

Oh well...

Might as well fess up if you're caught in such a shitstorm.

Volks is having ads on radio every few minutes here now about reliability and whatnot, trying to make us forget the fiasco.
Like hey people we still have gasoline cars and we -swear- theses ones we didn't cheat anything so like buy them okay?

Truth be told, we already know that will happen

Looking back at the ITR, it made 195hp here and 200/210 in Japan, apparently, due to emissions. That's not to say the 195hp version wasn't fun. While it may have been "detuned" for NA, it was a fucking blast to drive.

I'm sure Honda will remove the turbo and make the new R with the R18 engine. Earth dreams, ninja. Honda gots dis.

Do you think the emissions fiasco has the potential to make VAG fold? I think this is just the beginning of the shit storm for them.
