The problem with Bose is that they put out some decent headphones sometimes but you can't just blindly buy one of their products and it will be good.
I wouldn't qualify Bose as another Beats by Dre.

Beats and Skullcandy in their category. Bass heavy, terrible rendition but crowd please because looks and hype.

Apple & Bose in another category above, where some of their offerings are good.
Bose is known to jack up the price for the name. The Q15 stand out though still because ANC as you said.
The newer Apple earphones are surprisingly good. The older ones are shit.

If I was to buy completely blindly, Sennheiser, Sony or Pioneer would be my choice. But I ain't buying blindly anyway.

I've considered and re-considered the new Bose in ear with the external battery pack for ANC. I bought a pair for a plane ride and HATED the ANC.. it really hurt my head and my wallet.. $300 bucks...

For that price i'll get some Sennheiser HD650s or something....

I've tried the Bose ANC, never bought them myself because couldn't justify a passive noise cancellation like good tips (comply comes to mind as you said).
It made me feel weird at first, not sure how it would be for extended periods of times.

I'm usually listening to music "on the go" in situations where an amp wouldn't be favorable to carry around. At the gym with wired buds lol, that'd be a bit insane.

At home I'm straight from my Creative X-Fi, MediaMonkey, dsound output (ehhh) and 4Front EQ10. I'd lie if I said I used my headphones diligently now, hard to warrant having an amp when I'm just having background music booming on my Logitech Z-5500...

CSB: Bought micro USB stick, 64GB.

Doesn't come with little nylon/polyester loop to tie to keychain. I need to lend it to someone.

I don't think I'll see it again.

Gotta craft something for it. Thanks Sandisk, I'm sure the little loop would have been expensive.

One that loves the NSX for what it was.

I'd modify any car except for the NSX. Plus, it's worth more in original condition than modified.

You need to look at Prime. There are plenty that haven't been modified, or just barely, with stock parts still available.

Well duh. You can buy the budget, turbo'd and bagged NSX.

There's a reason the mint ones are so damn expensive. And beautiful. And desired. And jizz in the gas tank worthy. And lick the exhaust pipes 69 style.
