It's a learned skill and frankly, if she never learned, it won't be unwiring the brain and then rewiring like it would be if you needed to learn to shift in a RHD car. Should be just the same.

And even trying to learn switch handed isn't impossible. Heck, if I, a random internet stranger, can claim to have learned ing with my left even though I natively went right... She can figure out a manual.

Something I've observed is that sig others tend to be nervous when you try to teach, but someone else might be less implied pressure.

I think they call that cuckolding?
I found RHD driving not difficult at all, although I might have the upper hand (ho ho ho, hilarious) being a leftie in a world of righties.
It takes 2 weeks at best to get used to it and you quickly "recognize the patterns" in your subconscious. My biggest fear was shifting in the wrong gear but because your hand is not used to shifting it doesn't happen at all, not even close.

I'm sure she can do it anyway, maybe not going to become the next Ken Block, but just fine.

Oil pan is what I was afraid of but luckily that's not it. When I was leaving work I thought oil was all over the pavement from far away but it was just cracks.

Oddly enough my radiator cap wasn't there. You'd have to turn that to get it off and I haven't messed with it in forever so I'm kind of at a loss.

I didn't say she's incapable of learning...I said she has no interest in it and she uses the excuse that she's a leftie and that her car is auto and why the fk should she bother...

I kinda don't care for her to be able to drive my car...tbh.

Keep us posted Beez...why didn't you get under there and look!!!?? Or did you...I'm not sure...what else could come lose and cause smoke...

think the impact shook up the high pressure coolant enough to bust the cap? Maybe the hood slammed down on it? Odd.

naw...I have prodded her...I'm telling you, she drove my rsx. She's capable...she just claims to not want to. She is hard headed, when she decides she can't or won't do something, there's no prodding.

Oh yeah, it's one of these choose your battles wisely. No gain having her drive stick... except she could drive you back in your car after 1 too many!

honestly, sometimes I like the pressure of responsibility if we take my car. I can frank the tank when I am able to let loose.

This sounds messed up but when I parked I said to myself "it can wait or it'll catch fire and I get a new car a little sooner than I wanted".

I tore it down last night and going to start trouble shooting the rattle and hopefully knock it out before the horns play at 2:30.

Edit: forgot to mention, the radiator cap was under my battery tray

My GF is afraid to drive my TL for some reason... Hasn't been behind the wheel since the day we saw it at the dealer. And she literally only say there

Morning all. Caught up on the nonsense... Not much salad tossing, just a lot of J wanting a V...

B not taking you seriously because she knows you want the D obviously...

He's afraid to be a strong man and just *tell* her what's going to happen...

Because that never works out. BTW, the couch is pretty comfortable once you get used to it.

I'm rightie and the only issue I found driving RHD was remembering that the signal stock and windshield washer stock were on opposite sides. Everything else just transfers over within 2 minutes of driving.

Do you know what the #1 way of keeping your wheels free of curb marks is?

NEVER letting the wife to drive

You'd cry if you saw our Sonata wheels. I don't even know how some of that damage was possible or how she didn't know it was happening oh well. Life goes on.

He should really drive slower, hindsight is 17/38 though.

Wow. Seeing so many of them together like that makes them seem almost pedestrian. Almost.

And I'm digging some of those garish colors! The bright green is awesome and that Kermit green is almost offensively boring. Perfect juxtaposition, IMO.

I saw some plain Jane Carreras, a Quattroporte, and a 458 yesterday... But that Porsche get together is something else!

They're not happy in Gaza ..
They're not happy in Egypt ..
They're not happy in Libya ..
They're not happy in Morocco ..
They're not happy in Iran ..
They're not happy in Iraq ..
They're not happy in Yemen ...
They're not happy in Afghanistan ...
They're not happy in Pakistan ..
They're not happy in Syria ..
They're not happy in Lebanon ...

SO.. WHERE ARE THEY HAPPY?
They're happy in Australia ..
They're happy in Canada ..
They're happy in England ..
They're happy in France ..
They're happy in Italy ..
They're happy in Germany ..
They're happy in Sweden ..
They're happy in the USA ..
They're happy in Norway ..
They're happy in Holland ..
They're happy in Denmark ..
Basically, they're happy in every country that is not Muslim and unhappy in every country that is!

AND WHO DO THEY BLAME?
Not Islam.
Not their leadership.
Not themselves

THEY BLAME THE COUNTRIES THEY ARE HAPPY IN !
AND THEN- They want to change those countries to be like, THE COUNTRY THEY CAME FROM WHERE THEY WERE UNHAPPY!
Excuse me, but I can't help wondering...
How frigging dumb can you get?
Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim Terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.

Lets have a look at the evidence:
- No Christmas
- No television
- No nude women
- No football
- No pork chops
- No hot dogs
- No burgers
- No beer
- No bacon
- Rags for clothes
- Towels for hats
- Constant wailing from some bloke in a tower
- More than one wife
- More than one mother-in-law
- You can't shave
- Your wife can't shave
- You can't wash off the smell of donkeys
- You cook over burning camel shit
- Your wife is picked by someone else for you
- and your wife smells worse than your donkey
- Then they tell them that "when they die, it all gets better"???
Well No Shit Sherlock!....
It's not like it could get much worse!
I almost spilled my beer when I read this..

Yea.

Same with the 917, there were handful there. 3 of them with the gulf livery too!

Saw the 919 too!

Pretty much this is the biggest Porsche gathering in the world.
