It's a good feeling once you sweat it off though, just not when you're in the gym choking on your secretions.

I couldn't find a proper mistake to slip in. I'll commit sudoku.
I'm going to assert that I did not make a mistake. You guys went right to the musical instrument... But perhaps neglected to consider the *other* definition of "organ".

Think about that and then go reread my obituary for Maj.

I did cucumber it, but it didn't seem stupid enough for the current conversation.

Yes, I know what you mean...if I'm just feeling sluggish or run-over, a work-out always gets me feeling significantly better afterwards.

However, it's often a coinflip on days like this because shortly after, I'm usually over-run with a cold/flu bug and bed-ridden. So, if that happens, not going to the gym...I have a fever for a reason a reason...body is telling me to rest up.

I think we're from different schools. Arguably mine is more stupid and doesn't have any scientific background to it. I usually workout at the gym, get drunk with spirits, party hard, and when I wake up the next day I'm completely obliterated and feeling hungover. But then usually the cold/flu/whatever is gone just like it never happened.
I don't always do that, but if it's an opportune time, why not?

I use to take a lot of pre-work out like C4 but I stopped all together. I now take Hydroxycut hardcore next gen (2 pills) 10 mins before working out. Gives me the focus and energy I need. I felt super jittery with Pre-workout.

I don't do actual pre-workouts, simply load up with some good ol' whey protein and carbs so I don't die in the gym.
Commercial pre-workouts are nothing but a load of caffeine as the active ingredient. I used to drink too many energy drinks a day back in the day (think ~1g of caffeine a day) and that was not really good for the body I believe.

To be honest with you, I stopped taking almost everything I used to take. I would take 2 1/2 scoops of C4, followed by Oxi-elite pro followed by 2 scoops of Amino-X (while working out) finished with platinum pro ON protein about 2 scoops made with water. My body needed a good cycle off. I tried to take it again, but it made me super sick.

All those supplements can definitely get difficult to digest at some point. I have a somewhat low tolerance to lactose so even whey can make me feel sick if I had too many dairy products during the day.

I'm now only on whey & dextrine (carbs) for my shakes and fish oil for omega 3. No other supplements.

Well sorry to hear that, I look like a dick now.

But really, it's one of those WTF moments.
A friend of my elementary school music teacher died in a very strange way. He got struck by lightning while on a small sand island in the middle of a river, apparently it was very gruesome for the other friend that was with him when that happened...

Any of you gym bros use L-Taurine?

I've got a bunch of it that I bought for reasons, but I don't need it anymore. Is there any legitimate use for it that someone might be interested in or should I just dump it?

Vasodilation. Mixed with caffeine you're a beast. Apparently good for the pumper too. No wonder they put that shit in energy drinks.

Microcenter no longer builds pc's with customer supplied parts. I just called a local pc shop that has out standing reviews. We went over what I have and got to the hard drive part. He said "nnnn no no no no no nooo.. You must use SSD!" went back on newegg and cancelled my order and got what he request. Worked out to be cheaper by 28 bucks

Not building it yourself? It's a great feeling and once you do it yourself from A to Z I feel like you can never go back to just "buying it".

I use to be really "into" this and knew all about the latest and greatest. That was also 6 years ago on my last build. When I did this build, google, wiskey and newegg were my new friend. I'd love to build it myself but I have a feeling something will blow up..

Anyway, here is my build if anyone is interested.
https://acurazine.com/forums/technol...824518/page17/

Here are my specs as of now.

Motherboard
: ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Ram
: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3300 (PC4-26400) Desktop Memory Kit, Corsair Vengeance Airflow Included

CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W

Video Cards: (2x) MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support G-SYNC Support Video Card

Power supply
: EVGA 220-P2-1200-X1 80 PLUS Platinum 1200 W 10 yr Warranty ECO Mode Fully Modular NVIDIA SLI Ready and Crossfire Support

CPU cooling: Cooler Master V8 GTS (Massive!)

Hard drive: SAMSUNG 850 EVO MZ-75E250B/AM 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Case fans: (5x) Antec LED80XFAN 80mm Blue LED Case Cooling Fan

Bay drivers:

-ASUS Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Drive Model

-Rosewill RDCR-11003 - 3.5" 74-in-1 Internal Card Reader with USB 3.0 Port

-ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner

- Thermaltake Commander FT Touch Screen 5 Channel Single 5.25” Bay Fan Controller

I changed the CPU cooler and hard drive to what you see there. The case used is an older Alienware area-51 which will get some vinyl work. This by far will be the most advanced pc work and build I've done.

I crush a lethal dose of HGH before I even get out of bed every morning.

Now do yourselves a favour and go talk to that guy who hangs out in the locker room by himself all day long.

I'll try to take a better look at it later, but doesn't the case you have accommodate 120mm fans? That's the only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb to me on a quick look.

The case is a full tower. It's exactly the same size as my current older Alienware Area-51. To be honest with you, they are the same bare bone case. The newer case has the fancy plastic skins that bolt on the existing aluminum panels. If the cooler is too big for the case, I do have a back up one which is Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Either way, If i need another cpu cooler the shop will provide it.

Definitely go with AT LEAST 120mm case fans. 140 mm is usually the better bet as they push more air at a lower RPM and are generally quieter. With a 5930k I would invest in an all-in-one CPU cooler, such as an NZXT Kraken or if you want tried and true, Corsair H80i. Will be well worth it in the long run. The CM coolers are good for middle of the line stuff, but I wouldn't use them on an X99 based machine.

The newer case has the fancy plastic skins that bolt on the existing aluminum panels. If the cooler is too big for the case, I do have a back up one which is Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Either way, If i need another cpu cooler the shop will provide it.
80mm though, ew. PC MASTER RACE

I agree for 120mm is the least I'll go (higher if possible), although not all cases fit 140mm. For the exact reasons you cited.

Regarding CPU cooling, I've successfully overclocked many beefy CPUs on "simple" air cooling. The CM V8 GTS is beefy enough but it definitely comes with a luxury price tag. Similar design coolers can be had for somewhat cheaper. It's all about having a proper case airflow to compliment the CPU cooler. Cooler case temp = cooler CPU. For the best results, you want slightly negative pressure although it comes with the price of attracting dust.

If you want to dive in with an all-in-one watercooling solution for your CPU I suggest going all out otherwise you're going to get top tier air cooling temperature. The Coolermaster Seidon 240m is cheap and efficient, hangs with the big boys at not even 3/4th of the price. $90 over at newegg.
