Yes, I'm splitting the cost of materials with him and sharing the labor. I already helped him do the OTHER side that the OTHER SIDE ahole neighbor didn't help with (no labor or money offer). I probably could have gotten by with not paying, he didn't ask. I offered because right thing to do!

My neighbor is redoing his fence himself which means about 50 feet of common fence to my property. I offered to help him on the common part and split cost because A) our fence looks like piss because of the shoddy post-hurricane replacement both of our previous owners did, and B) it's the right thing to do.
But then the guy goes and starts the project last week. When it's 90F+ out and like 9000% humidity. So I was like, let me know when you want to do our common section. I'll be out of town that week...
