Damn. Where is crabman when I need him? I made a quesadilla for dinner and put some green chiles in it. And then I went and touched my dangly bits and now they burn. I need him to come rub milk on them but he's nowhere to be found...

You fuckers need to get it in before GG locks that thread.. that fool talking about airflow when the manifold pressure be absolute.

3G TL doesn't even have a MAF..
.. and he's talking about outflowing the exhaust with a CAI We should change his name to FENDURP

FYI, difference in intake temp at the throttle body between a short ram and a CAI is roughly 50 degrees (CAI being 50 deg cooler). Heat soak and all..

Almost smashed the TL this weekend because of a fucking idiot (the idiot wasn't me, swear).
In 2nd gear getting on the highway, in a spirited manner but not WOT either, it's a climb to a highway between walls. Guy in front of me in a Cooper S looks like he doesn't mind the spirited driving either and pulls a bit from me, then starts to change lanes to enter but doesn't notice the person coming behind him but in front of me in the lane. SLAMS on the fucking brakes blocking both lanes instead of keeping in the entrance lane (more than enough room), guy that was in his lane swerves left to move around him and I have to slam on the brakes too. My tires squealed like a greasy pig would while trying to escape from cu2 and I ended up less than 6 inches from that idiot bumper.
He rolled away slowly to the next exit, probably to cry and shoot himself in the face.

So do I. The tires are very grippy in dry situations so that was helping. Noticed I'll definitely won't be able to do 3 summers on them though, they're grippy at the cost of longevity... Thanks 280 wear rating!

Glad you're okay PB.. some drivers are real fucking idiots sometimes...

Some people get larger cars to overcompensate for small penises. This MINI guy apparently is undercompensating for his large ego and small brain.

y'all talking about tires.. damn i need new tires on my TL.. I hate that they were unmatched when I bought them.. Sumitomo and Falken ziex crappy ones from the last owner.. They had/have plenty of life so doesn't make sense to drop money on them though.. Also have a set of 8.5 A-Specs I'd like to fix/balance/mount new tires on them rather than get new tires on the waffles..

It's hard to spend money on a car you drive 2 days a week (if that)

Hey I don't know, I just think it was a terrible lack of judgment. He could have easily moved back in the entrance lane and slowed down but instead he slammed on the brakes with nothing in front of him because he finally noticed the other car coming up behind him/in his blind spot. Completely wrong reaction for the situation.

Gotta give you that. I drive the TL daily and as much as I say I don't enjoy these Nexens much they've been nothing but reliable so far. Their wet traction is horrendous though, but that's expected from UHP tires. Not an issue anyway, I drive the limit and even more so when it's raining.

I was referring directly to the braking in between lanes. either commit or go back.

Maybe he was doing both of you a solid so you guys can share the fault when you both rear-end him

I'm thinking PSS or Conti DWS.. I've had great experience with Michelins and they have great deals at Costco so I may go that route.. but that's months down the line with my mileage count..

I worked OT Saturday so it seemed short for me!

Johnny...I have the problem where I need tires on the aspecs, but can't picture spending the money on those and not the advan, so i just leave the tires on teh aspecs. I guess at some point I should swap them over when I get new tires for the advan before they get too bad.

OT on the weekends

I don't know why you guys have 2 set of wheels when you have no winter. Too much money for me, I'd gladly not spend for winter tires & wheels if I could.

Sick household last week.
Went to babby shower on Sat. 18 miles away; took 35 minutes to get there... 3 hours to get home. Big F-you to Houston road system.
Washed the truck Sun afternoon. Rained 30 minutes later.

But at least I get to go to work today!

Oh, and I stumbled into the dead Cecil lion thread... I see now why you guys rage at that USDM character... He's intentionally antagonizing, right? No one is that thick.

Same specs for Advans and A Specs?! If so, heck ya, that's what I would do! The sexy rims should get the new shoes. (A-Specs are beautiful, but those Advans are

That sucks man, both the sick household and the traffic. Montreal likes to play that trick on you sometimes too. OH, it's 10:45 PM and you want to get home? Think again, this exit is getting blocked and it's causing a traffic jam. WTF?!

Hey pb wanna buy a set of waffles :P

If i had it my way, I'd rock the A Specs, no questions asked. One of them have a bend so I need to get them fixed, refinished and then will get new tires.. After that, I'm pretty sure the waffles will sit in the garage until they finally get sold or something..

Random car BS: After nearly 2 months of using the XB35 on the right side and the Xenarc 66040 on the left side the XB35 has settled to be very close in color to the Xenarc, albeit ever so slightly more yellow. Not enough for me to care and swap it right away and not enough for anyone not looking specifically for that, so that's good. I should still do it though and stop being lazy. Not like I can sell the XB35 now though.

You bet I do. Can't be found around here. They'd be sweet ass winter wheels, but I'd feel bad for them.

Thinking I might as well keep them and if one of the 66040 burns out I'll have an instant replacement. I've been wanting the CBIs for a while now though... nothing stops the itch.

Even when you're driving aggressively, you need to drive defensively.

B) Never fuck with a person driving a mini cooper.. srsly. Driving a mini cooper s shows bad judgement already. Almost everyone I know, or have seen driving a mini, has been a shit driver. It's owned by BMW too.. so it's like.. they're cocks.. except they keep missing the hole.

Austin has shit drivers. I've had to save my ass many times. I can always foretell what some shitbag is going to do (on their phone, FOB, redneck owns the road, drunk, new in town). The TL and V do a great job of making distance. I had some dumb bitch make a left turn from the middle lane. She completely cut me off while I was going 30 mph in the left lane, I had to pull a 90 degree turn, full brakes, ebrake, everything but the kitchen sink. Fucking bitch was on her phone.. then she reversed like nothing, didn't drop her call. I have small kine road rage already, 99.9% of the time just me bantering about shitty drivers. But that was almost the 0.1% time that I was going to choke a bitch. I had special cargo in the car as well. The TL will always get my praise and appreciation for saving my ass and those in tow all those times.

My mom has lost her $15/hr job and I've been helping her financially lately. Yesterday we bought her a stupid amount of groceries at Costco and made her cry. Sucks man.

Oi yes, I swear and cuss about stupid ass drivers all the time but do not get actually angry, but some of them deserve a special place in hell. You got lucky on that one.
