basically... I know parents with kids have a different perspective when it comes to these types of situations and I know Maj will chime in but this isn't a case of "MDX almost killed daughter" more like "Wife locked keys in car and A/C was probably but freaked the fuck out, I had the second key and could have easily gone and unlocked it but PANIC ENSUES, CALL 911, LETS USE THE JAWS OF LIFE TO SAVE THAT BABY GIRL"
I'm not saying it's not a problem with the MDX, but the event is far from being tragic.
He said she started the car, put the kid in the back, closed the door and then it all locked up on it's own and she couldn't get in the front. Not that she locked the kid in to smoke some rock or anything.
I tend to do the same thing on hot days but I'll usually leave the driver door open while taking care of the backseat matters. But I've also got a poor's car that doesn't do all that smartguy keyfob business.

Well, we can all make our judgments but it ain't our kid or our life...my wife would probably panic too and I think the "oh well" from Acura is really what pissed him off.
I remember once, in my TL, I was packing up to go home from Betty's parent's house...I put the dogs in...it started pouring...car running with the 2 12's jacked up pumping some kris kross...ac on full...
doors are locked...I don't know if the dogs hit the button or it was just a freak accident...I spent an hour tearing up my weatherstripping with a hanger...then was going to waste the 2 hours to drive home and back...B was like, just use your AAA...I'm like, stand down dumb woman, you know not of these matters. After much frustration, I agreed that she was right and grabbed a beverage and waited on AAA. They took 5 seconds to open it.
Fk you dogs...all curled up on the back seat with the windows fogged up napping enjoying my tunes for free!

I agree with you, the "can't do shit" from Acura probably pissed him off, but I don't know... maybe I'm overprotective of kids? I don't trust tech most of the time, it's other expensive shit that can break on a car. It's cool thingamajigs.

I been thinking about it and I actually blame the babby. I bet it just sat there like "oh, mommy, you look warm out there. It's nice in here". I bet it didn't even try to reach over and unlock the door.
Ol' freeloader lookin' ass babby.
Ol' freeloader lookin' ass babby.
That's kinda more sad than the 2 Maj made up.
then the next time i visited, the title changed!
i'm sure that was your doing.
