My wife called me and said there is a guy with a measuring stick measuring moisture in the grass. (Yes, Cali has a huggggeeee ass drought problem, but I thought that was a little extreme to go out and test the moisture.) then as she left he went over to the gated community and was entering the code to get in.

I thought 1 of 2 things... Either he was legit, or he was one of those scammers trying to break into houses and pretending to be a utility worker.

So I called and asked the guy if he was legit, and the water company said yes, he is reading water meters, which makes it look like he is checking the moisture in the grass.
