I was considering stocking up on Greek yogurt on the market, but I think it will go bad before it's value comes back. Ramen, on the other hand, is a safe bet in my opinion. That shit can sit for millennia. I'm gonna be rich!

I've been okay Adam. A lot going on in my world lately. My kids came to stay with me for a week after Father's Day. But, they're still with me because they don't want to go back to they're mother. I can't blame them though. Neither she nor her boyfriend have a job. They have no car. And, they're using the $932 a mth I pay her in child support to pay their rent. She's a real piece of work! 
Needless to say, I think it's time to hire a lawyer and get my kids back legally.

I've met with a lawyer already. He wants $2,500 to get started and will allow me to make payments on anything exceeding that. So, we'll see what happens.

People sometimes need to just pause for a minute and take a look around, take responsibility for the situation they're in, and not blame it on everything and everyone around them.

All seriousness, I'm sorry about that, man. Crazy. I used to say it would be better to meet someone how they are at the end and work your way back in a relationship.

Holy shit, man. You're a stand up guy for paying child support. You're even more of a stand up guy for wanting to get your kids back and out of that mess. I hope everything works out for you and doesn't cost an arm and a leg by the end of it all.

Criticize away... Zero fucks given. And, although I am a stand up guy for the most part, child support is held out of my check like pb stated. Therefore, my employer has to continue to hold it out until a judge changes it.

When I used to deal with people's pay I would see everyone who had baby mommas and how much it was. One guy was paying his ex- wife/baby momma $1900 a month, taken out of his check, printed on another check that was sent to the Child support office C/O Ex-wife/baby mamas name...

I knew of a guy that decided to stop working and live off social aid just to spite his ex, and while I don't normally condone this, she totally deserved it. She was a freaking nut case. He pulled that trick for nearly a year doing little jobs off the book and eating ramen.

Not sure how it works for Americans, but nobody is a stand up guy for paying CS here, it's taken straight on their pay before it gets deposited in their account. It happens whether you want or not.

And yes, I think it's incredibly stupid that the law system gives mothers all the power when it comes to children, but fathers get screwed, unless they fight it out and prove they're worthy. This isn't 1950 anymore. Everyone is always complaining about equal rights, yet fathers are made out to look like useless tools. I know many dads that are equally, if not more responsible/capable/dedicated to their kids than the moms.
