as long as there's desire. I'm good.

speaking of which...looked up V's today for giggles and shits. Very few nice ones nearby. Meh...

Also, brought home a metal shed tonight...now I'm second guessing buying a used resin one off craigslist. Smaller and $160 more doll hairs...not sure if I should.

I'll just have to paint it every few years and recock the base and roof to ensure no penetration of rain. Plus, roof line is lower so you won't see it over the fence!

That's a bit of a harsh response. Don't always have to be an ass- he's entitled to his opinions. Opinions are like butt holes. We all have one.

I dunno how I feel about that whole situation. I saw it on the news today. Definitely tragic and it seems like there was no ill intention whatsoever. I definitely believe in free growing up, as in, like all of us likely did without bubble wrap parents hovering over us every step of our lives. And yet we are all still alive.

I can understand the parents thinking that the kid would have just walked straight out there. But at the same time, it's a fucking 2.5 year old. Maybe at like 4 that would have been ok. That was kind of young to let him go on his own. Maybe the mother should have watched from the window.

Either way, they must be devastated. No parent should ever have to go through something like that.

Joe, so letting the wife drive the corolla made her realize its a pos and its time to dump. She brought it up when i got home Friday night.

She said "i see why you complain about that piece of shit out there" i think its time to get rid of it you can pick whatever car you want next... budget not sure yet...

Sums up what I think about it. It's not like they weren't negligent, they were in that specific situation. I'm sure we're all aware at how quick a kid that age can be whether you have one of your own or not, this is exactly the reason why they should be under close supervision. It's 1 simple mistake and they paid the high price like I mentioned before.

It's still not the parents themselves that angry me because I can't even imagine how bad you blame yourself for that, it's the people defending them at all cost, trying to make it seem like it wasn't their fault in any shape or form. Refusing to take the blame for something you have done is a terrible coping mechanism...

A ~5 yrs old kid almost got hit by a car right in front of my place like 2-3 weeks ago when I was coming back from work taking my mail. Lady was sitting on her terrace and the kid was playing in the front yard. Kid guns it for the street suddenly while I presume lady who could be the mom is lighting her cigarette and isn't looking at all. Guy in a pickup braked hard and honked, stopped his truck and started giving shit to the lady. Some good neighborhood drama.

Happens all too often. I started taking the longer route out of my neighbourhood, because the shorter route has these three or four houses on the very corner where there's gotta be like a dozen kids living.

Pretty sure all the moms are stay at home parents. Kids ride their bikes all over the fucking road, kicking soccer balls and shit, while moms sit around in lawn chairs, drinking wine on the driveway. Whenever a car comes through, the moms give the DIRTIEST fucking glare imaginable at the driver and just yell "CAR!!!" To the kids. right. I forgot. Roads are for your fucking kids to play on, not for cars to drive on. And there is a fucking park 1.5 blocks away!!!!

Fuck, it's a nice, middle class, average neighbourhood, except for these dumb fuck families right on one corner. I on occasion take the Miata through there, in first gear, and rev the shit out of the engine just to scare them off. Whenever I do take that route, I crawl through at 20km/h and I still get the stink eye. Fuck you.

Next time, roll through. Stop. Roll window down. Stare. Make chocolate starfish symbol with fingers, put tongue through finger symbol and wiggle it about. Roll out without looking forward.

I don't know those parent's life...
Therefore I'm not qualified to pass judgment (sometimes mistaken for an opinion).

Kevin, that's great news, man...there is NOTHING like the wife being on board with a purchase. You can do it anyway and go rogue, but some of us are old enough to know that isn't a wise move.

MacGruber: Well, they were fucking great guys. And this is a fucking asshole of a day.
Col. Faith: I know. It's just that their kids were there.

I had another gem today. Bitch had her dog out in the park. I was driving by in the Miata, doing 45km/h in 2nd gear. Bitch tries staring me down and is mouthing "slow down!"

Bitch, speed limit through residential is 50km/h, and I'm doing 45. It's a main thorough way through the hood. So fuck you. I hammered on the brakes and just stared. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you.

Don't like the noise my straight pipe exhaust makes? Fuck you. Fuck you. And fuck you just a little bit more. Cops don't give me grief about it. So neither should you.

Drive like shit so they'll actually get scared for the safety of their kids. Then everytime you roll through the hood, laugh as they run to grab their kids as you muddle through, pipes roaring in 1st gear.

You could also buy a beater, wreck into one of their cars on the street and say one of their kids / dogs darted out into the and you did what you needed to do to save them.

V stands for Victory.
V stands for Vasectomy.
V stands for Vagina.

I want one.
Just not bad enough yet. I'll wait 5 more years and pick up a lightly used one from Grandpa for $23K.

No.
But that's just it- I don't even speed through residential areas. My old man has beat it into my head for too many years to not speed through residential

Anywhere else?

What's going on!

I've been super busy with work. I've been trying to catch up on things, but realized it's a lot to take in all at once. It requires a few days and a few bottles of vodka to try and understand some of the comments posted as logical and rational.. I saw Jon post being moved, TLX and ILX guys debate on fuel, oil, intakes and other things. Glad to be back. haha

V stands for Very cheap handjobs in the Arby's bathroom.

Tug enough dudes off for $5 (roman V = 5, plan confirmed!) and you'll have the other V in no time.

Oh, maybe the "other other" V. I just realized the "other" V could stand for Venerial Disease. By I guess you could always get vanity plates that declare it loud and proud: "J STD'd up":
