Unless the spiders are an actual problem (lots or in unwanted areas) they're most of the time beneficial. You'd better keep them out of the house via natural ways (cedar mulch, citrus/vinegar) than try to exterminate them.

How bad and what sort of spiders? Basement or elsewhere? Unless the spiders are an actual problem (lots or in unwanted areas) they're most of the time beneficial. You'd better keep them out of the house via natural ways (cedar mulch, citrus/vinegar) than try to exterminate them.
