Ok, saying "pretty much all" is obviously a gross overstatement, but the numbers were kind of scary, to be honest.
Here's one article. It's based on people over 50, but they keep referring to middle aged people...

To add to that, they say women 40+ are also less likely to go see a doctor if they catch something due to being embarrassed, so the reported cases aren't necessarily accurate numbers.
I guess to clarify what I said earlier, cougars hanging out in bars looking for meat can be a huge gamble for catching something. Not all 40+ singles.

And red stripes aren't about saving money. Some people just straight up don't like the type-s tails (Hi). So that kind of limits the modding choices. Plus type-s' have type-s tails, bases have type-s tails, NO ONE has modded reds sans a few here and there.

Sorry to hear you paid so much for your OEM reds. People have a hard time selling them for $30-$40 nowadays.
If you paid more than the cost of Type-S depos, you're at loss on the "saving money" part
Don't get me wrong, i love the look of the red stripes, I've done a couple sets of them for people, but it does in fact save money to 1. mod red stripes vs 2. buying Type-S tail lights and on top, modding them for that "look/rarity"

I paid $80 for MINT OEM reds three years ago. I thought that was more than fair.
Totally not the point though. Money had absolutely nothing to do with the decision. And when we are discussing sub $200 no matter what direction you go... why would it to anyone? Being of the few mods that you can distinguish yourself from others...I would hope a $50-$100 difference in cost is not what people make their choices off of.
