Don't be a bitch and get a 6MT Type S. There's enough out there and once you remove the check valve, it's easy as fuck to drive. Because of them torques, you don't have to shift as much if you don't want to (you lazy fuck )

That, and like you and J pointed out- you can save a lot of dough. What's not to like?

I think if you find a nice specimen, don't be afraid to pay a little more for it. If kept maintained and looking good, it'll hold it's value for a long time.

Yea I know, if I can find a 6 MT type S around 50k with maintenance records I'd jump on it.

I walked home from the bus stop today my wife goes where's your car. "I left that pos on the side of the road, needed to make room for new car." Sometimes I wish someone would steal it

I have 5 cars in mind.

Infinti Q50 - Still pricey as hell though, but plenty of room for the kids.

Lexus IS350 - IMO it's a little overpriced, but I can see if I can work them on the price. I heard the back seat is a little cramped still.

3G TL-S - Just because the body lines are clean as fawk and it's older

Focus ST - Don't know if I want to drive a manual everyday and actually need to go drive one and see if it will work with the kids.

Ap2 - Pretty sure I won't get one, since it's only 2 seater, my wife will not go for that. We will pretty much be down to 1 car then.

The Corolla needs some work.
Window Regulators
Door Actuators
There is a small oil leak
A service
The trunk needs to be repaired
Tint needs to come off or need to redo
So what you're telling us is the Corolla is boring.. drop the IS350.. there's no way you're fitting a child seat in that bitch while maintaining any usable driving position unless you're gary coleman. If you want to save some coin, check out G37s.. dime a dozen.

I would actually suggest getting an automatic TL...type S or not. Get your manual shifting kicks in the S2000...have a nice comfy no brainer relaxing drive in the TL. Plus, I would guess wifey can not drive stick (well) and it would be harder to pitch you purchasing TWO cars she can't drive.

I get the feeling Flip isn't up for buying 2 cars. I mean, it'd be nice, but I see some arguments coming from it, lol

"why do you get TWO cars!? What about the vacation you promised me?!"

But then again, I don't have kids, so it's not the same scenario.

Yes, Corolla is boring. No fun what so ever. Plus I don't want to drop in money into it. I'm walking to the bus stop everyday until I get a new car so I don't have to put money into. that includes gas.

She can't drive manual, that was her main gripe. The ST is manual she said what if you needed the Explorer and she had the kids and an emergency came up. I told her you could/would learn. I'm looking at 07-08 TL/TL-S auto. The S2k will be my fun car.

I would end up spreading them. TL in Jan- Feb 2016 S2k in May of 2017. Reason for May 2017 is that's when I get my nice promo. $1500 extra a month, there should be no complaining about anything then.

So I was right.

1. You're the man.
2. You know what cars to pick.
3. $1500 a month! You looking to adopt a mid 30's half white boy that can cut grass and keep your cars clean? I won't even smoke all your grass!

C'mon over. My grass is dead since we can't water and there is nothing to mow. So you will only have to keep cars clean. Sounds like a deal to me.

Great perk for working for goberment. The position I'm in allows me to move up to the next ladder with a huge jump.

At the airport, the pinnacle of culinary options. Need to grab a bite so I hit Wendy's because it's consistent and least likely to make me shit myself over the next half day. Get a spicy chicken sandwich because is da bomb and I get the side salad because mah figure.

When I sit down to eat, I find that it's not the sad side salad I was expecting but instead, I seem to have won a deluxe chicken salad!

And let me tell you, and this might be controversial, but I gobbled ate that salad with no dressing. Ate it straight raw!

Bam.

Now I'm gonna pass out for a few hours.
