Guys, I think I need to accept that my face is a puckered anus or something - I've had 3 separate clients tell me I'm an asshole at the gym today for asking them to follow facility policy. Must be Monday.

Honestly given that I've been working here for long enough to know what people are like, my policy is just smile, tell them they can't use that kind of language here, show me their pass and if they don't like it, here's my supervisor's card, have a nice day. People rage hardest when you don't acknowledge them being cunts. I had one guy completely lose it and cuss me out in front of a ballet class for 8 year olds for politely addressing him as "sir"

3x3 all in the same day guys. Just get it over with and be done. It doesn't take that long. I just left the plastic guard on the bottom of the tranny off when I went riding between each 3x1. I just used DW1. I immediately noticed a difference! The shifts were so much smoother afterwards.

I thought it was suggested to do the 3x3 in roughly 200 mile intervals no?

Everyone on AZ has their opinions on everything from what motor oil, oil filter, trans fluid, salad dressing to use. I did my 3x3 all in one day with in about 2-3 hours. Did a 3x1, went riding through all the gears a few times, repeated 2 more times. It worked out fine for me, and shifted much smoother.

Cool I'll keep it in mind Jamie

I'm probably just going to do it in intervals as suggested when you're not sure when its been done before, since I have no clue when it was last changed

I'd only be nervous about fucking up the fill bolt on the first swap...
It's gonna be smooth sailing after that.

Do the filter too!

I dunno man, the gears and synchros and shafts and whatever else are spinning pretty damn fast inside the transmission. I think 200mi intervals is way more than necessary. I'd say the way Jamie did it should be all good.

Like he said, it's whatever dressing you like!

Personally ima let a week apart for the 3x3. Just cause I can and also superstition.

Wow man, that totally sucks. The face palming was epic on my part after reading the whole thing. Actually, the face palming was epic on my part after his third reply

From then on, I was eating some good ass popcorn

That sucks even more because you still have to put up with that shit. Sucks to be you, man. Some people have no clue about common courtesy and not being an asshole.

(And clearly, you're that person )

I've sat on one when I was 5, but never rode it. Parents were too paranoid to let me.

I did burn my leg on the exhaust though

Definitely! The last thing you want to do is drain the fluid and then not be able to get the fill bolt out to put more fluid in. At that point, you're screwed! Mine was a bitch to get loose the first time with that long ass extension on the rachet. I'd change the filter too. But, unfortunately, on the 07-08, it's internal and not easily accessible. My trans was serviced at 36K, and I did it at around 70K. So, hopefully the fluid hasn't ever been dirty enough to clog the filter too bad. The trans shifts great right now. Knock on wood! Hope it stays that way!
