Those Dinan chips add ridiculous amounts of power. I wonder what it does for reliability though.

I remember an acquaintance of mine had a last gen supra as his summer car and a 335 with Dinan as his winter car... He said his winter car would annihilate the supra, lol. I believe the supra is an all-stock TT version, save for wheels and coilovers.

that's what i'm afraid of.

honestly, and without publicly tossing your salad and nosing your brown. i have a lot of respect for you. you giving a car a stamp of approval, after all the research you do...would hold a lot of weight in my decision making process. also, american car...easy to take apart and american car part prices.

I also decided a long time ago, that I'd only buy a 1 owner used car and it would have to be from Texas. Every single ebaymotors auction from Tejas has the cleanest looking cars ever, no salt/snow, no dings...there's a backdrop they use with the TX flag on it on all their auctions...pictures are indoors, high quality and plentiful with a buy back guarantee...I'll see if I can find the auction house. That's where I'd want to buy from. Fly in drive it home.

Money sink money sink money sink... that's why they end up selling it. Nobody pays $20K 10 years old car even if you put $10K on it unless it's a "classic" car or it's rare. The TL isn't either.

right next to my house.

they hand you the keys to any of their cars and say "have fun!"

I test drove a G35 and didnt know Nissans still employed the push in to get into reverse.

I had to put it in neutral and push it out.

Texas does indeed have the cleanest rides in the country. Things to look out for are road debris that chips up the front end. The TL doesn't have a spec of rust.

J.. there's a fairly new Texas eSeller called vRoom. They do free autoshipping (nearly 1k savings) and free returns.. plus a warranty. Their cars are priced very competitively too.

You guys make me jealous. Things to look out for are potholes destroying everything and rust on all the other things that are not destroyed by the potholes.

No doubt...I have a few people that have been after me to sell them the TL...one would likely pay me $10K without the Advan...hmmmm

Justin...sounds like the puzzled look the tint guy gave me when I handed him the keys to the S2000...didn't mention push start or pressing down to reverse.

Thanks for that Justin...that's great to know!

getting rid of the TL would stop making me think I'm dumb for having 2 cars/2 insurance/2 maintenance...that's frivolous...but if it was my ONLY car...

Just yesterday I took a fucking vice grip to a torx bolt holding a bracket to hold wires on my mom's Wave 5. That shit wasn't rusty (yay) but whoever re-installed it when the previous owner changed the bulbs fucking soaked it in loctite and cross threaded it. Then they coated it in anti-rust oil. So after cleaning the crap out of it to remove debris stuck to the oil and trying my best to remove it...ratchet bit totally destroyed the bolt in 1 twist... It became a perfect circle.
A 10 minutes thing became a 30 minutes thing and this is exactly why I hate working on cars here.

I'd say we'd all fit right in, but I don't think it's a good thing to say we'd fit right in 12 years old.

They made a documentary of Eli Porter and the viral rap battle.. it actually makes a lot more sense about what was going on when you watch it (silent pauses, awkward stares, etc)..
