Finished watching The Walking Dead...and now, seeing the awards that matter for the Oscars.
I have not seen the majority of the Best Picture nominees but I can say having watched "The Grand Budapest Hotel" a couple times already, it's a terrific movie.

We'll see! My bet is that he wants something a little more raw/untamed than the V2. He did prefer the C63 over the E63 IIRC for similar reasons. That pink poodle wants to get tossed around a bit

Happy Monday everyone!
So, we got 8" of snow on Saturday and then Sunday hit a high of 51*F. Because that makes total sense. Took the Denali out both days - on Saturday for snow hoonery and on Sunday for my inaugural tow of the M3.
Finally got the M3 back together Sunday morning - intake manifold back on, oil changed, interior (mostly) screwed back together - and took it for a little test drive. Holy shit, I've missed driving a sporty car. It's street legal, so I can definitely drive it to work on nice days and leave the Denali at home. Anyway, had to get the M3 over to a shop for wheel bearing replacement, so I figured that was the perfect time to practice loading up the trailer and getting the car delivered in one piece.
In short, I am very glad I bought something this size. It tows the M3 like it's not even there. I have a weight distributing hitch, which helps, but a smaller vehicle like a Grand Cherokee or 4Runner would have struggled and/or not felt as solid while towing.
The first 20 minutes or so, I kept checking my rearview mirror and wondering who that asshole in the BMW was that kept tailgating me...

I hope you brake-checked the ass a couple times to get him off your tail. That would have shown him!

People are savages, therefore... people.
It was good enough. Dinner at my dad's on Saturday, everybody was there, we didn't even end up talking about his wedding so I imagine that's good.
Dinner at my mom on Sunday, weather was so nice I drove with the sunroof tilted, took the occasion to change my mom headlight bulbs for the OSRAM NB Unlimited I bought for her. Aside from retrofitting HID in her Pontiac Wave 5 and putting CBIs in there, that's the best she can get with her halogens.

It has a nice v8 grumble at startup.. but then tapers off rather than getting louder. Dat S/C dampening yo! Sounds nice at idle though..

Weather here totally sucks balls. Yes, I know it's February still. Yes, it is +2C. But still shitty. I'm getting depressed with this snow still kicking around. I presume it will still snow heavily at least two more times. By the end of the week it's supposed to be a high of -9C. Sigh.
Snow isn't off the books until May and even that's not a guarantee. I remember getting snow in July

Oh, and 'moon surface' season is officially upon us. Whoops, I mean pothole season. This place gets so incredibly bad. The TL even on 17s shakes like a motherfucker every time a void is hit... And they're literally unavoidable in many cases, spanning across the entire lane.... For 20 consecutive metres. Feels like your fillings will rattle loose

It was -8C feels like -11C yesterday and I worked outside to replace my stupid plate light that burned right away (re-using eBay bulbs does that) and then swapped my mom headlight bulbs which includes removing 4 bolts with 1 that stripped (thx GM!). Sunroof tilted on the highway. Then shoveled the balcony and pathways for 30 minutes, and still loved the weather.
Today it's a chilly -22C feels like -29C... now I agree with you, fuck winter.
