I'm totally against the legalization of marijuana.. furthermore, I think all pot smokers should get publicly stoned.

I voted for legalization here...because stoned when I voted.

And because it brought in $44M in taxes to the state...Mile High State!

I highly doubt that. If you were smoking kush, you'd be 3/4s retarded, in a near vegetative state. Not that I would know.

Edit, after reading the article, yup, that sounds about right. It has very little to do with being "dank armpit chewed up phone book stench" though. 14-15% is what my friend shoots for.

Evening, slores.

Long day today with dropping one of the cars off for servicing and then taking Litte Cha in for his annual heart check-up. Tests and lots of waiting around.

Damn! I'm jelly. I wish I could, but I eat like that once in a blue moon. I was at 287 pounds 3 years ago. about a year after that I got down to 170 pounds at 11% body fat. I went back up to 204 pounds and been cleaning up my diet and working out hard with the trainer to get back to at least 180. I'm getting married in Sept. so I want to do my best. It's always hard, to keep a clean diet and eat well especially in Winter. It's too cold to do anything outside and tend to get lazy to hit the gym. I try to be there at least 5x a week but I should be going everyday If I want to see results.

That's really good! But don't lose track of what's really important: being healthy. Being 170 lbs and 11% sure looks great but 190 and 17-18% is more natural. That said, I'm completely on the other side of the scale. Currently sitting at 165 and around 19% and I wish I could take on some weight. Haven't been working as hard as I should have in the last 2 months.

Also, shirt my girlfriend bought from the men section in Walmart to use as a blanket... Lol

What are your thoughts on the RDX community? I can appreciate they're interested in modding their cars, but it just seems incredibly stupid with the lengths they're going to. A custom fabricated CF driveshaft? Why? I think they're all forgetting that by the end of the day, they're driving an SUV.

Many (not all) agree that doing full bolt ons on the 3G is kind of a waste, considering the gains vs $ involved. Yet in the RDX section it's "hell yeah!"

I guess what my real question is, if modding the RDX makes that much sense to them, why not start off with an SRT-8 in the first place? It's a hell of a lot more nicer, pretty damn fast right out of the box, and the prices of used SRT-8s are definitely attainable. These guys are dumping money in to be, by the end of the day, as fast as a stock SRT-8.

Let's not forget that a modded TL will likely have a buyer out there. How many people are interested in buying a modded RDX? People buy SUVs to haul kids, dogs and whatever other shit, not trap 95mph in the 1/4 mile (wow, a whole 95mph?! doesn't a stock 6MT TL trap faster than that?)

Maybe I'm missing something here. Any clarifications?

I don't think you're missing anything, other that for some people it's their fun to fuck around with their car no matter what the car.

Performance wise I think it's a bit ridiculous to start with a somewhat difficult car to work with that will only get minimal gains with most affordable mods.
I think other than exhaust stuff to customize the sound of your ride, it's an exercise in futility.
With bolt ons only, many other cars go beyond what you will achieve with the J32/35/37 and for half the trouble and half the price.

Plus if it was only of me, I hope I'd realize my RDX is a pimped out CR-V AWD with a V6 dropped in...

Well as I mentioned, I can appreciate them wanting to mod, but yes, I agree, it makes very little sense to me. I don't even bother modding my TL for speed.

Also, the first gen RDX (and the one most guys are modding) is a 2.3L I4 turbo, not a V6

Took the v2 for a test drive on Friday. What a fucking ride. It's almost too black tie. What a fucking savage when you put your foot down her throat (scared my bro's little boy.. lol). Otherwise it's plush, even for a firm suspension.

Came back Sat to talk numbers. Even brought the tl in for appraisal. They wouldn't budge a dime and offered me 1500 for the TL. I haggled back and forth, wouldn't budge on price but they brought the TL up to 2500.. What a fucking insult. Left. About $1500 was the diff between my bottom line. If they offered 3k on the TL and dropped price on the V2 by 1k.. it would be in the garage.

I'm chang as fuck though. Oh well.. I will say, for not being able to change the earth's rotation, the TL is still a fun ride. Saw a gt-r there as well.. jizzed.

2500 for the tl? Does it have 300k on it and everything is falling apart?
