As brake fluid ages and gets dirtier, it starts sucking up moisture. This causes premature brake fading to occur since water has a much lower boiling point than clean brake fluid. I'd start there. If you're mechanically inclined, you can bleed the brakes yourself. If you want to play it safe, have someone help you do it. I'd try that before putting a bunch of money into your brakes
I honestly have 0 idea when the brake fluid was last changed - in all likelihood I'm going to be going with one of the XLR8 zine packages and rebuilding my calipers in the next month to tide me over, so I'm probably just going to go with new fluid, probably Motul 5.1 like some people have suggested - I think this might be the best route to go until I can swing for a new front kit.

Even stock the fox bodies have trouble putting down the power. Wheels go weeeeee

Right before the TL I saw one for sale, was well kept although higher mileage.... all black. Got tempted. But then you fall back 25 years in terms of technology. Plus it would have been a summer only car so alas I let it slip.

Met the guy who bought it through a mutual friend completely randomly, he looked happy. I got a bit jealous.

That Neo though.

Ditching the idea of getting the V now, Maj. Thanks to that thread, I'll just get this neo and tune my TL-S. 350whp easily.

I learned how to work on cars on Fox body mustangs...hence my boyhood sentimental desire to have one because I never have. If I'm being honest...now, 20 years later...I think they're ugly. Still love the sound though, but not for $42K for a Coyote. Fk that...

Neighbor has one, all original supercharged cobra...also a military grade H1 and a vast list of other toys...NSX, had Austalian spec Subaru WRX he sold recently and drives around in a 4 series wagon looking thing.
He's a member of Mensa and a cool dude, owns three houses...his house in our hood is his weekend house for scuba and fishing.

Is this the same ramblings thread? Everyone is being so sweet on each other today!(except for Adam, who seems to still have his thong on too tight)
And, holy salad, Maj said he loves everyone?!
What is it that you regret, Maj? The V? I take it you just paid the first payment?

Talking about the V.. fuel smell is super strong and my poor fuel mileage is a little too poor. It's either EVAP can or purge valve at throttle body. It's warrantied, but if it's cheap, will fix myself.

Payments are low.. put money down and loan rate is minuscule.

Yeah the Foxbodies are classic and as much as I wanted one as a kid when I grew up to my twenties I realized how dated they were as a sportish car unless you wanted to put money for bolt-ons... and then you still had traction issues and 20 years old technology.

Favorite car ever is still 67' Vette. There's just something about it that makes my manhood tremble.

Meh on Foxbody - but then again, I'm just not into 'Murican cars

I'd love an E30 M3, that would be my classic car of choice probably.

It's hard to keep up, J! Busy day here.

PB, you should have just told the ex "Look, we can still , but we have no future other than that. She would have given you something special.

No, I want to keep her in my life. Like I said, we were friends long before and much longer than we were together. It was great, we had fun, the relationship fucked it up because despite our great friendship we don't aspire to the same things.
is only gonna make it more complicated. It's already complicated enough.

Still, she was pretty as always when I came by yesterday. Watching the movie sitting next to her was strange, almost laid my hand on her thigh out of habit.
