I was going to do the orangish- copper/bronze caliper and lug nut combo on my car this spring. Looks like I won't be posting pics now

What did you use to paint the calipers? And how are those lugs for fade resistance? It was hard as fuck to find a decent set in that color.

 

The amber is old man, it's the lack of amber that's new. Ain't following.

You guys ain't paying attention. Amber calipers are old, really. He had teal, then amber. The new changes are the headlights and sidemarkers. Tsk tsk.

Seriously though, still insane.

 

High temp silver engine paint was my base from the first color I did...then I did satin lagoon over that with a high temp clear engine enamel over it.

I always sand with 600 before new color goes on...

Recent one was VHT engine paint...burnt copper. Do like 3 coats...then Brem decal...then 5 coats of the high temp clear.

Lugs are knock off project mu's...the color doesn't match perfectly, but they're 7 sided and steel and small and were only $30. So I dig them.
