I know it...I guess at some point, when you line them all up...if they go by you super fast and one is 1:43 and one is 1:42...
let's face it, they're both fully capable and faster than any car we own. So...the ability of the car would be lost on a shitty driver etc. So I'd pick the one that's the sex when I park and look back at her or take her to take pictures etc...

It doesn't really matter...I can't and won't afford a car like that anyway. I'll just wait for my used Diablo to come down to 25K, like I originally planned

Speaking of exhaust, that LFA sounded so good...only ever saw one once...mmmm.

I know...but ALL of them either say call for price (probably because it's so low) or are ridiculously priced!
Okay, back to an NSX then...I'll hold out for an 05.

LMAO...I don't blame you. My Dad says the same now...although when he does drive my car sporadically...he does say he misses it.

Ok, who's put a deposit on a new NSX?
Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
J said he made a deposit, but it was on a towel.
Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
Justn would have made a deposit, but he's pinching his pennies..

Why you think they got such shiny coats!?!?
Actually, now that the housework is settling down, took them for a little 1.5 mile jog yesterday. Damn...what a difference in their demeanor. They just seem so much more relaxed and happy when they get some exercise.

Being an average joe, regular commoner, I'd have to say the Acura would make more sense, even though the Ferrari is more appealing. Don't Ferraris have crazy regular and costly maintenance intervals? I thought that's why many of them have so little mileage on them when sold. At least with the NSX, you can pop into any acura dealer and get parts. I've also heard (can't confirm) that it gets increasingly difficult to find parts as Ferraris age. Ferrari simply doesn't stock pile them, because, well, Ferrari. at least with the NSX, you'll know parts will always be easy to source, even ten years after they stop production. Just from a longevity perspective from a guy without bottomless pockets, the NSX would be more sensible. It's one thing to drop 150k on a car. It's another thing to actually keep it on the road.
Based on what? No one has even driven an NSX yet, let alone seen any numbers. Just because it looks pretty on the outside doesn't mean much. It's likely going to be the case, but it's little more than speculation right now. The Nismo edition GTR is pretty balls to the wall. Who knows what the R36 will have in store.

Who said anything about keeping it..

Also.. twin turbo V6 with 3 electric motors.. yeah.. this isn't your grandma's NSX. Not cheap.

At $150K, screw that...I'm in a German-schnitzel-eating Porsche 911.

Or for less, the GT-R.

For less than 60k.. tough to beat.

Yes, there was hype in the past about a new NSX (thinking of the V10 one, etc), but they were never touted like this before. And most of the hype came from car fans, eager for a new NSX, not Honda itself.
Registered Bunny
Why would that happen at this stage? I dont think Honda/Acura would have spent the money, that much hype, that much everything, including building an assembly plant to not build this car.

Also where do you puts kids in the NSX?? You can do that in the 991 and the GT-R.
Team Owner
Same place I'll put my kids when I drive the miata. Underneathe the tires, so that I can afford to buy another car
Team Owner
and you'll likely never see 10 different NSXs on the streets, unless it's over a course of 3 years. at 1000 units/year, odds are your city will only have 10 per year, at most.

I don't know but I got this vapor-car feeling which reminds me of the Pagani Zonda, which sure did get produced but was so ridiculously hard to get hold of the price doubled and tripled and the waiting list got ridiculously long. Not for lack of potential buyers, only 221 Zonda got to the finish line overall.
