Kinda like what happened to Achmed, the Dead Terrorist.

Yumchas toss, they don't troll.

Happy Friday, everyone...first one of the year!
All this talk of despair and the state of the world got me wanting to blow off some steam. Cheers everyone.

J. Pellet gun? More pics?

Serious question.

Wondering if it's the same "old" style my dad has.

I like you J, but we're the 9th of the month. It's impossible for us not to have had a Friday before. Now if you're meaning first Friday after a week of work, well ima just gonna agree with you and get you and I a beer.

Also fun fact, did the Myers-Briggs personality test and got.... ENTJ. I did the test before, but reading this again makes me realize why is everything like it is.

I wasn't drinking when I was shooting, it's dark early!

After seeing how happy my Dad was with his crossbow, I decided I should dust off my long bow, that I hadn't shot since I lived in my townhome.

It's a Daisy 880...20th Anniversary Edition. Grandpa bought it for me. In 1992
It recently seized and I almost tossed it, but went on ebay and found parts and bam...shooting straight from 25 yards!

Good morning guys!

J, good call on not trashing the 880. I've had a couple of those models, and it's a great bb/pellet gun. Plus, your grandpa gave it to you. Maybe, you'll have a son one day, and you can pass it on.

Morning, all!

My roommate and I helped a friend of ours replace some things on his BMW X3 yesterday. Whoever approved the layout of the block, to include the water pump and thermostat at the very bottom, should be kicked. Repeatedly.

The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Part 2)-o2wxn8r.jpg

I don't think I've used swiveling sockets so much before. Complete pain-in-the-ass job but thankfully, no leaks when we were done and he had heat again. I can't see how a dealership mechanic would be able to do the job with any more ease or less cursing.

Gotta do the oil filter housing gasket on the 128i and then shine 'er up for the buyer tonight.

Denali has a blown driver's door speaker (Uptown Funk is really catchy, don't judge) and the new ballersauce head unit I ordered should be here soon.

Time to pay some credit cards off, I guess. Oops?

Oh nice, I'll check that out.

I would love to find more music in that sort of pop-funk style, I think it's great.

I have no idea what you are talking about (honestly).

If you're referring to soccer/football, we don't play that shit much either. Hockey is where it's at.

I call it pussy rugby for 2 reasons: It's slower than Canadian football (zZzZ pace, good for superbowl ads though!) and you're so padded I'm surprised people even get hurt.

No I get it...and I was referring to Canadian football...which isn't really football. American football injuries are mostly knees, ankles, and concussions. Can't pad knees and ankles and they can't make a helmet to protect the brain sloshing around. That's why they get hurt. Have you seen the ears on rugby players? Like wrestlers except they are running all the time. One of my sons played club rugby for a few seasons...he was always beat to hell.

I agree...I am a huge hockey fan...GO AVS!

Oh. Well nobody really watches Canadian football either. Rugby is ridiculously ruthless. Nobody does 10 years in freaking rugby without regretting it.

I'm just messing around though. I don't really care that much about what sports you guys are into, I'm just here for the beer and the wings.

You'd be surprised how efficient some of the BMW mechanics are. Back home I watched those guys rip off the front end of a 740li in 1 hr to replace the bottom timing gasket. Of course they billed 4 hrs.

I have friends who have played rugby for 20 years. WTF are you talking about?

They get the usual injuries for field play, a lot of messed up hands, not really big injuries. Biggest injuries I see are in football. A couple of them play amateur football as well (sponsored but they don't get money). They get messed up playing football more. Don't let the pads fool you.
