Sure everybody starts somewhere, but the fact he's got us wondering if he's able to check his oil level using the dipstick makes me very scared for his own safety. Hopefully he never attempts anything that involves more than 1 bolt/nut.

I told him to take it to someone who can do the work for him. His other threads have me scared as well. I don't want to be near him on the freeway.

Seems like that would be the safest. Sure it can get expensive, but do you want to risk it when it comes to car things? It's one thing to change your headlight bulbs (although on the TL it's a fastidious enough task since it requires removal of the bumper) but when you're talking about the oil in your car? :S

Anyway, best of luck to him, and definitely wouldn't want to be near him on the freeway too!

I'm about to get my windows tinted too. My first mod.. If that even counts as a mod. Just spent $60 on a nice window shade to keep the dash cooler when the weather gets hot again.

After losing my original dash...I don't mess around...darkest legal tint and the covercraft insulated sun shade in conjunction with leaving my windows cracked to let the heat out.

I'm lucky enough that even though my windows are tinted from the first owner my dash hasn't cracked. I guess Canada isn't hot enough. Most of the time in summer only gets up to around 95F at best for a few days then back to like 85F.

I only want to get it redone because the window ones are scratched and it annoys the fuck out of me to see these. Back glass isn't tinted but I'm going to get it tinted when I get everything else redone.

Yeah, guess 10 years of rolling windows up and down had its toll if there's no moleskin (which I don't believe there is).

I'm going to punch you in the face through your rolled down window though you smug Floridian bastard, it's a stupid -12F feeling like -26F. Although if I did my hand might just shatter.
