I'm more concerned with getting this fucker painted...Betty is hellbent on paying someone. I refuse. I don't mind manual labor and we're in no rush at all...taking our time. I'm prepping one side of the house at a time...it'll be rewarding that way!

Yeah, I don't see any reason to pay somebody. It won't be that bad. I'd help ya if I was closer! Get some beer, put some burgers on the refurbished Genesis, and paint the house. Sounds like a good time to me.

that's what I tell her...half the fun to fixing up a house is doing it yourself...even the bloopers, you remember them...the effort you put in, the laughs, the fights. It's all part of the experience!

I hate painting with a passion! Doing stuff yourself is the way to go. Screw paying someone money when you can learn some skills. The one thing I don't like though- my hands always take an ass whooping no matter what I do lol. Ah, battle scars

Oh that's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that! If he's a Cub Scout, that means he's a little guy, and his sister couldn't be too much younger or older than him. It's very sad when children pass! I can't imagine having to bury one of my children! Parents should be the ones to go first.
