Acura is so non-relevant these days, it hurts. How do you attempt to call yourself a sporty luxury brand if you refuse to produce anything beyond 6 cylinders, which Acura doesn't really produce themselves, but borrows from it's parent company. How do you only make FWD cars, even on your flagship sedan (or is it only AWD??), instead of RWD like its competitors? I think Acura is scared to compete with true luxury brands and continues putting out bland shit covered up by sweet commercials with the hopes of fooling people.
I also like how they abolish two sedans in two different classes (aka TSX and TL) and combine them both into one. Now you're only half satisfying each market. Or like pointed out, mothers, who really don't give a shit about their cars.
The TLX confuses the shit out of me. Ok, fine, abolish the 6MT like everyone else- that's fine, but why in the hell would you put the sport transmission, aka DCT in with the 4 cylinder engine and cram a slush box in with the engine actually putting some power out?!?! What the hell is a Acura doing?!?!
Their SUVs looks have been tamed down- the first gen RDX is so much sexier than the current, dulled down one. Same with the MDX. While the MDX is nice to drive (I had one as a loaner for a day), I couldn't believe Acura was asking 60k for that thing. Never would I ever.
They have no coupes. They have no sports cars. They have no convertibles. They have nothing defining them out of the ordinary. All they have is a few sedans and a couple SUVs. It's like "would you like the small, medium, or large sedan today?". And let's not forget that no one buys the large sedan. Oh but wait, the new NSX, delayed yet again, set to be released in 2166 will be AWESOME.
Acura is putting it's own nails in its coffin.
I'm done ranting for today
No, wait, I'm not done ranting! Hey acura, keep using that same 2.4L engine you've been using for the last decade and will obviously continue using for at least the next 4 years. Oh, what? You cranked out the power to a whopping 206hp?! Wow!! Better yet, please offer your new TLX with a smaller engine, last used by you in 2008, producing less power than your outgoing TL. That'll get people to flock to your dealerships in no time! But hey, it produces 4hp more than your 2008 version, so he'll yeah!!!
*facepalm*

Someone more knowledgeable than me help me out here...
Person on facebook forum says that the reason these cars have a rough(er) idle in the cold is because they are misfiring... on purpose.
Wouldn't the CEL flash if it were misfiring?

When the NSX does finally come out, it better be able to hang with the GTR if Acura expects it to have good sales.

I loved that bike. Looked, sounded, and rode amazing. I still have a bike though, albeit in pieces.

This bike has become a bastard love child of many different bikes; 2010 CBR600RR (front end), CBR600F3 (top half of fuel tank, welded to a stock Hawk base), Ducati 996 (rear wheel and brake), SV650 (fuel pump) and soon to be Ducati Monster (seat and possibly front cowl/headlight). Its fun though, you can do way more things on a bike in your own garage compared to a car.
And yes, I totally pic whored that

They have their heads so far up their asses. They want to play with the big boys but don't know how to.
Step 1) get your own platform
Step 2) get your own engine
Step 3) put it together
Step 4) market it, preferably without nonsensical tag lines or worse, Ludacris
Though, the Ludacris thing makes sense for Acura. Neither of them have been relevant since 2004
Say h'what?
Here's hoping its not the R35, because the R46 will be out by the time the NSX hits dealers.

The hood was a fucking pain in the ass to install. First, since there were no pre-drilled holes in the CF hood for the chrome hood trim, I had to basically eye-ball it and drill my own holes. THAT was fun.
Then we had a bitch of a time trying to get the hood supports off the car from the ball bearings. The Hayne's manual said to remove the nuts, but you don't have to do that, just the U-clamps.
And THEN, the fucking thing would not close all the way. I had to remove the rubber stoppers on either side of the latch to get the hood to close. I finally figured that out after about, oh, an HOUR.
Well, finally got the damn thing on, and THEN I noticed a slight crack in the gel coating on the right corner. GREAT. I wonder if a body shop could try to fill that in to make it less noticeable. Hmmmm.

Ouch. Is it ViS? Nothing was pre-drilled on my hood for the CL, aside from the hinge holes. They didn't leave enough material on one side of the grill opening, so I had to cut some strips of aluminum and used it as a clamp to grab onto what little material was there.
To add to the frustration, it fit great during the winter, but it began to bow during the summer. Definitely not doing that again.

Man drives Jaguar over Top Golf course, patrons pelt car with golf balls | News - Home
A man in a white Jaguar gave a new meaning to the term driving range last Saturday.
Houston police said they went out to Top Golf along the Katy Freeway and State Highway 6 after a man reportedly started driving his car over the course.
Viewer Josh Putt sent Local 2 pictures of the car. Putt said patrons apparently made the Jaguar a target, and began pelting it with golf balls. workers were eventually able to corral the car into a corner with a ball-collecting cart.
A security guard detained the driver and called police, but no one was arrested.

Awesome bike, Morgan! Dat CF exhaust!! My brother had one on his Suzuki Katana, never had to worry about burning your leg and cool to the touch always. Must have on a bike if I ever get one.
Taco! You fucking noob! Stop quoting pics! But I still like you.
