I dont think you need new radiator hoses unless they are leaking...you wont have to remove the hoses for 105K either...
also, unless you are doing a valve job, the plugs are not going to be a part of your 105K service either...
I recommend (and i do this personally) grouping the work...keep a FULL DAY (maybe weekend) for 105K service...so if you hear some different noise or something, you know it was part of the 105K that you did...
I would keep intake manifold/TB/EGR cleaning along with valve adjustment and plugs...
I didnt wanna say anything coz I just wanted to see your response...it sure is priceless LOL

Didn't you just say you took yours to someone else to do your 105K?
I know it's not part of it, but if part of my coolant system is drained anyway, I figured it's a good move to swap out some 10 year old rubbers that are generally the first to go when you're on a road trip 1000 miles away
That's what I was planning...I would likely just drive the S2000 and split it into a couple different jobs. I've done the plugs at 60K maneuvering everything and that was doable so I figured I can't pass up doing it while I have the covers off. Intake TB cleaning, hmmm...I did that not too long ago, but will likely hit it with some deep creep since it's off anyway to get valve covers off (?).
I need an inch/lb baby torque wrench...last time I tried torquing with a full size 150 ft/lb one I snapped a bolt on the intake

Tonight, NOTHING!
Tomorrow, supposed to get tint on the S2000 at 8am. Pub crawl tomorrow night with my Dad.
Sunday, some domino's tournament with my fiance's hs friends at some park down South. Should be fun!
You?

^ You ain't kidding.
Happy 1st birthday, Thomas! no wait, not that, he's only one.
Since we're sharing plans...dinner and watching Frozen with the new lady friend. Saturday, working and maybe playing Diablo 3? And Sunday, who knows...probably get tires mounted.

Oh HAH! I actually hate data readiness/conversion...mind you, all my experiences have been horrid; so, in the last ERP, while we were migrating the item master data, some moron made changes to target fields last minute without telling me...so, our entire 6 hour job was ruined. That's just one of my "highlights". Many other ruined weekend migrations...where data failed to convert because we had garbage in there that did not meet the target's character restrictions.
Doing data readiness (i.e. cleansing/standardization) was also a horrid exercise since IBM Websphere could only fix around 60% of the data and the rest of the data prep had to be manual.
In this current one, we were migrating data before design was complete. My migration spec had went through 47 revisions...and I'm neurotic, so, I strikethrough changes and highlight them...well, I ran out of colors in Word's highlight feature many times over...since well, the highlight feature has only 14 colors you can use (can't really highlight with black).
I'm not even sure how I got pegged into data readiness. I'm a BA by trade...I should never have put in SQL in my CV.

Precisely why I like it
I am a contractor, so more fuq ups means more time on the project means sales opportunity means better paycheck/bonus
now if I were a full time employee, fuq that shit LOL
and I have been doing it in TELECOM since 2009, funny thing is I have been doing all the documentation. The first time it was hell, the next go around, copy paste, format and done

I still havent heard anyone with a failing radiator hose. I have checked mine (before I swapped it out for some cool blue ones from Bert) and they were still in great shape and I was at about 150-160K miles.
The hose which fails (gets brittle) is the TB coolant hose. Now that might be a good thing to change. When I did the coolant bypass, the hose just cracked in half. Good thing I anticipated that and had another hose ready.
1000 miles away from home and YOU in YOUR TL? I dont believe it
yes, you can get to the rear plugs without removing the manifold, but when you have to do a valve job and remove the valve covers, you will have to take the manifold and the strut bar off. No need to take the runners off. Since the full manifold is going to be off, not a bad idea to clean the EGR runner in the manifold and the manifold itself. I wont be surprised if the internals are golden-ish in color from the oil thrown back in by the PCV...

Yes I took it to the dealer for part-105K mile service...grouping work together is what I was getting at I dont mind the peace of mind the dealer provided me since I knew the car has to see many many many more miles...specially since it was a dealer i knew and all the old and new parts were marked differently

I was kidding around, buddy...I appreciate the advice. I've had my intake off before to put the thermal gasket on.

keep a dremel took handy since one of my hose was almost seized if you will at the block. Others came out with a little bit of pull

Copy and pasting only works so much for certain specs. Most of the projects I've been victim to have such different data requirements and elements, that it is not that easy to copy...Sure, the format and layout, no problem. But, everything else is still field by field ID-ing.
the good thing with Telecom is, we make the DB...so incase of a conversion from legacy system to ours, we have the same specs and same conversion practice on our side....we tel them what we need and they provide it to us, our side of it stays the same
yes, a few changes depending if the legacy system supports everything that we need...

It is what it is...what I described is the known baggage. Just kinda hilarious how I got yanked into doing it...it was almost like I was half asleep when the CIO asked for volunteers and when I blinked, I was suddenly the only one left in the meeting room.
Started doing it in 2009 and have been involved more or less ever since in all subsequent projects. One way or another, I'll end up in data.
Thank goodness this aspect is almost done and I can go back to change request spec writing soon.
