I've done that move a few times, but not at high speeds. My military marching expertise trained me to use my peripheral vision. I don't do it anymore because I'm too old and cautious.
While the FF franchise has little value both in terms of great cinema and true automotive enthusiasm, it's really entertaining! Kind of like Drake is to music.

Congrats Justin....
yeah buying the house is an awesome feeling brothaa...even now the interest rates are pretty low and the housing market has not fully recovered and hence you can still get a very nice price and interest rate

my credit score is at 800 or above.
just waiting to hear back from my bank to see what kind of interest rates I'm able to get.
once i have the amount and APR locked, i can start seriously looking.
my budget is $250,000.
if I dont find anything, i'll just continue to save for that down payment, and taxes, and home owners fees, and and and and and

@Yummy: agreed
Jeremy, great pix doo (saw some other pix on FB)...looks like u guys had some fun
Justin, I would define the budget before anything...credit score does help in getting the loan and shortlisting the vendor/bank but budget helps shortlisting the house you want...we were pre-approved for more the double of what we opted to spend....we wanted to make sure we can live on one paycheck if needed...

Relatively low, housing market is slowing again. Still sellers market. Market may flip. Justn, buy land and a meth trailer.

yeah in our area the rates are still hanging low...we closed at 3.375%, they are now 4.375% for a 30yr fixed....
we wanted to go for a 15yr fixed but after doing the math and downpaying 20%, if we paid a full payment every 2 weeks, we could pay the house off in 12 years and still pay a touch bit more interest that the 15yr fixed. But with the 30yr, if we needed to slow down and make only 1 payment, we have the option, with 15yr, you are locked into that high payment....

Definitely have enough for closing and down payment, but also enough saved in case you do lose job for at least a year. Working for gubmint is definitely a plus, they're usually the last to let anyone go. You can rape a crate of chickens, show up with your weenis swinging and get a promotion. Unless someone rats you out. J/k.. fuck that guy.

Should have known better than to buy in the subsidized housing neighborhood.

sure, I can spend $120-170k on a 1980's home and upgrade it, but it'll take a long time and be about the same price or even more when finished.
the one linked above says pending sale, but still showing...might be a soft offer.
i still have ways to go before I can even approach this house, but im on track!

In order to get anything 2300 and up, it is $500K easy.

I wouldn't purchase that house. SWAT can easily break in and disrespect your whole family.

Only shit thing about buying a house with upgrades is they won't usually be upgrades by the time you sell.
