Ah nonono...I've actually never worked in the telecom sector although did consider joining Nortel a few years back. Whew that I didn't.

I have been working with conversions and ETL's since 2008...love doing that

Doing data readiness (i.e. cleansing/standardization) was also a horrid exercise since IBM Websphere could only fix around 60% of the data and the rest of the data prep had to be manual.
In this current one, we were migrating data before design was complete. My migration spec had went through 47 revisions...and I'm neurotic, so, I strikethrough changes and highlight them...well, I ran out of colors in Word's highlight feature many times over...since well, the highlight feature has only 14 colors you can use (can't really highlight with black).

I'm not even sure how I got pegged into data readiness. I'm a BA by trade...I should never have put in SQL in my CV.
