i would just replace the slave cylinder now, and know you got a new one on there, and know you should have many years of trouble free service from it (also who knows how much water has gotten in there also, while it was sitting at the junkyard and such)

but yes it should come with the boot also

yeah my logic may be a more expensive way of doing things, but also hopefully the least problematic though, including down the line in a couple of years

but as far as those bolts, i would say look at the clutch housing, but i am not seeing them either

yes those corroded wires are the ground to the battery itself, junkyards like to cut first then ask questions later, much faster for them

YES, they need to be replaced, but with a stock one, no since you are moving the battery to the trunk, but i would still connect that point to the chassis though, inaddition to the battery, especially if it is going to be a longer run

got some goodies today. thanks morgan it was definitely a deal i couldn't pass up.

the only thing not pictured here is the injectors and spark plugs (those are getting installed tonight. and misc bolts and such (no one really cares to see those)

now i'm waiting on my stuff back from richie, some parts from honda (the clutch master cyl res. holder is on backorder). I need to order the rear engine mount bracket. I got sweet deal on a brand new OEM mount http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...SA:MOTORS:1123 and i just need to get the rest of the mounts. I need to order a battery relocation kit, SS clutch lines, and i need to get the Engine to transmission mounting gasket.

so questions about the fuel injectors

S2k injector on the left and stock on the right.

i'm guessing i need to take the o-rings off the stock and place them on the s2k? they all fit on the s2k injector, except for the one near the fuel nozzle, it goes in, but with gravity it falls out. are there special o-rings for specific fuel injectors?

i'm guessin i won't need the bottom o-ring. looks like i might need number 3, but number 35 fits from my old injectors.

i would say still get the o-rings at the bottom, you don't want a vacuum leak to develop, especially considering you have not even had the engine running yet (might be worth it to install the motor without the turbo first, so you can get everything running properly first)

then is that 35 some type of screen or something (can't look it up right now) then if so that should transfer no issues, just make sure to clean out those screens for maxinum flow (there secondary fuel filters)

then 3, if a seal also, again you don't want leaks developing, especially fuel on a hot engine

Oh my god!
This car will eat everything!!!!

I've never seen your car (too new) is it/she a sleeper?

Mine is a sleeper without the rims on, unless you double take - then you realize there's a lot of stuff has been done...

What RPM is it normal on a 03 Type S in auto D5 for a shift from 2nd to 3rd to occur if just calmly accelerating? (is a 2.5-3k 2nd-3rd shift normal?) (ex: city traffic accelerating from a light) Is slipping only if I shift, then nothing happens, it revs really high, then shifts after a delay?

everybody's calmy accelerating is completely different (like mine probably be like 4k ), and shit you can get it to shift at less then 2k if you did it really lightly; aka grandma style lol

I love her too much - so I baby her (grandma style). I think I better start to drive like what she can do (like 5k), at least once and a while. Ill post some pics and you'll get the idea what I have on my hands ...

410HP!!!!
That will be quite the handful!
Is there some way with longer wheel studs + wheel spacers you can fit fatter tires in? - or will that just cause too many problems with the handling/control and rubbing?

and shit I KNOW my tranny is on it's last leg, i have already milked it almost 25k, so can't complain, and the last couple of days it has been shifting really funny also, let alone reaking of tranny fluid, but then again this last time it puked itself (second time btw) it developed a slight weep for the fluid, so that it not helping either though

btw i baby mine also on maintence, but mine likes to stretch her legs often lol

got 245/40-18's on mine, on aspec rims, with only minor trimming needed in the back (and i probably would have gone 255, but the rim was too narrow though , so couldn't)
