I'm talkin like find a friend with a gopro and attach it to the bumper then go WOT for us a few times going around town. That would give some great exhaust notes. Of course it's all up to you. Can't help but drool at the existing video. It's been mega cold here too so I can't blame you for not doing a good video yet.

I have a gopro. Problem is is attached to the bumper you hear more wind than actual sound. If you get it too close then the sound gets all distorted from being too close and loud.

That's a very good point. Seen some pretty crappy youtube videos like that. Well I donno. That was my creative idea for a good sound clip!

gopro doesn't capture sound THAT well.... not unless you do an external mic or other modifications to housings and depending on which gopro you got.

Hey Fsttyms1, are ya going to be offering test drives and burn-outs at the meet ?

I'll bet ya could charge a demonstration fee for insured drivers who qualify.

very nice!
I always wanted to see something pretty much exactly like this, but VIP styled. Trunk mounted plates+ rear diffuser integrated with the bumper like Lexus and Nissan guys do it.

I might do something similar w/ the diffuser idea in the future.

TBH, the shopped car looked pretty ugly to me. But seeing the trunk work in real life looks much better.

Where/how did you learn to do this kind of work? IIRC it's not related at all to your job.

Ingenuity, thinking out of the box and willing to take a bit of risk will yield the bearer to reap potential benefits of being outstandingly unique.

Haven't been through this thread, is there a list of mods you have done, and any performance numbers?
From what I've seen, car is amazing, I'm mad jelly. Wish I had the cash/time/skill/not subject to C.A.R.B laws to do all this. I love the the car and wish I could get more out of my TL

No list but quickly, 6 speed conversion, dual exhaust(havent updated pics yet) built 3.7, audi headlight conversion (soon to be redone), custom rear trunk lip (and what is shown on this page) and many more little things. As for Numbers, not yet. Im waiting for a few more pieces to be put on the motor before i dyno but as is im guessing 300+ at the wheels (especially from the few races ive had with other cars)
