Yeah, more teasing.....just in time for " trick or treat " with Halloween just around the corner.
Pearl and black candy, yum.....me likes !!!
The only thing to keep in the back of your mind, would be repairing any future unintentional body mods.......
such as an accident. Seems like with the mileage that ya accumulate, a more traditional finish would be best
for long term use.
However, maybe once everything is all fully customized and put together......ya may want to optimize the appearance, and perhaps buy a beater for everyday work.
Im aware of custom paints and the issues that can come about down the road. Its not a big deal to me Traditional finish or custom it will hold up the same. To me a car is a car, Its meant to be driven and not worried about With the amount of time i spend in the car, no beater for me.
So i took the car for a little spin last night with all 4 275s bolted up. WOW is all i can say even with cold temps. I figured this was going to happen, and will have to be something i finger out this winter. Between the wider stance and tire size I have soo much grip now i need bigger sways or both bigger sways and slightly stiffer springs. I really didnt want to run coilovers but i may have too.
Don't know what bigger sway bars we can use on the front but I got the 24 mm progress rear sway bar on my third gen to and it made the rear end feel so much better. The progress rear sway bar is also adjustable. Eventually I'll do the front with a solid type a or h&r sway bar but you have to drop the subframe on the third gen tl's to switch it. can't wait to see what color you decide on.
Patience is the essence with a makeover project such as what you're undertaking.
Not something that ya wanna rush especially with the winter blues, holidays and family stuff. Plus bad back and being sick......Bah humbug !!! Enjoy the season and before ya know it, as springtime nears you'll be ready to turn the TL loose.

It will be done by spring, and in time for the National Zine meet this year come hell or high water.
I am very impressed with this build. I have been on the fence about keeping my "old" 03 TL-S and seeing all that you do makes it seem not as important to try and get something new and just try to slug out with what I got. Not saying I won't get something else, but your build speaks volumes about keeping something that you really like and just improving it.
OEM lip kit would require just as much modification. Im modifying the stock rocker covers to flare out enough to meet up with the flares. Pictures dont show the curve and twist that you see in person.
Oh, and got the rear diffuser plastic welded on. Just waiting for the rear lower body kit to arrive so i can mold it into the diffuser to finish that off so it blends properly.
