Lookin' good so far....I know you're going to wrap it around the rear of the quarter to make it all look naturally flowing. Sorta, like a factory style 10+ year belated update feature !

So, when are ya cutting the rear quarters for the flares ?
Been a long ole hard cold winter, I realize ya don't need to do that project until the spring thaw and putting on the wide ones !!!
Ill try to get a rear shot tomorrow. I got the pieces of the quarter to match up today. I have lots of finish welding to do tomorrow, then ill probably dive into the rear quarters at some point tomorrow afternoon. I started taping things off today to figure out where i was going to cut

I wanted to get it to hang off the back more like the concept 3rd gen but being impatient i didnt wait for my metal stretcher/shrinker to get here to get more of a curve out of it

Either way, its subtle and no one else has it

You sir put the rest of us to shame with this build. No one has ever or likely will ever make a car half as bad ass as this thing.... 3.7... 6 MT... with all the right stuff. This must be the holy grail. I think for the next project you should do a turbo setup. Can you imagine the power? Good luck getting the car to stay on the road though! Haha

If i had kept it a 3.6 i would have boosted it. There just isnt enough cyl wall for me to feel safe boosting the 3.7. I wanted NA. Power is so smooth and predictable.

That's true. Can't imagine there's much space left. I'm just imagine the snail poking out of your hood. It would be seriously bad ass

When you think about how rare of a car it is and that there are some out there actually for sale, it's worth at least a serious look at. It'll be worth something someday since they've now discontinued the 6MT. I want one so bad. Can't even imagine how fun to drive that car would be.

I've been looking at the 2012-14 model. Beak seems alot more integrated on those. Donno if I could live with it like on the 09-11 models... barf. But alas, tis a dream. Can't afford a $30K car right now unfortunately.

So what kind of video are you looking for then? You do realize for the past 3 months its been like -5 deg around here and there isnt much "track" type driving.

Been thinking about using the DRL LED's from the Audi B8 A4 (like my headlights) for part of the tails. Cool thing about them is if you reverse polarity they go from White to Red. They are dimmable, just need to figure out how to do it with the LED driver for the headlight. These things are VERY bright (like you could drive down the street at night without issue bright, brighter than my fogs. For now ). Id like to stack 2 in each tail

Thats what exhaust looks like when its 5 deg out.. Nah, i dont get along with heat that well for too long. Plus living here makes taking a vacation in the middle of winter somewhere warm seem logical.
