But I'm not sure if our cluster uses the same signal as the 3G ECU. Definitely will keep an eye out for updates.
Since the cluster isnt needed for that ecu much of it may work? Ill find out

It sounds so much beefier than the 3.2.... words cannot describe

I am green with envy

Say... 600k later what ever happened to the 3.2 that was under the hood when you bought it?

Too bad the camera cant capture the sound better. It is deeper sounding. I actually did the above in 3rd today

The original tl-p engine, sitting in my friends garage, engine i pulled out sitting in garage waiting for me to figure out what to do with it.

Ehh, just remembered the 3G ecu uses DBW. I'd rather just figure out the tach for the EMS than convert the throttle.

What was the problem?

Also, are you using the stock CL-S6 ECU right now? How much power do you think you could free up with a proper 3.7L tune?

After talking to Robert (youngone501) adding the dbw pedal isnt hard, he did it on his accord.

The problem was the Throttle Position Sensor. WOT voltage was too high.

Yep, stock ecu. With some larger injectors and a tune im sure 15 maybe 20. Injectors are maxing out and its running rich, and with typical honda its pulling a ton of timing up top.

Its nice to see what the j series can really do. Im appalled you have a huge passion with this build, if i had the time and another daily beater id prob invest into my own tl but its modding days are over. Money isnt an issue but the 2g tranny is unfortunately

Funny how with everything you've done it still sounds like a honda motor. You would think with the different parts thrown together in a Frankenstein way the motors tone would be different.

Still a good clip but too short. You need a 2-3 min video of you ripping up the streets up there.

It does sound different from a 3.2 in person, The tone is deeper. You can hear it in the vid, but it still sounds like a J series, which it should. That is what it is.

Here is another lil vid. Driving with my knees, shifting with one hand, holding camera with the other. Hard to tell in vid, but 2nd i was modulating throttle to about 2/3 to minimize wheel spin, Around 70 i start going up hill until i let off in vid for traffic ahead

You should try and set your camera up on a tri-pod and do a proper 0 to 60.

0 to 60 are easy he recorded post 80mph because its were the original engine start to struggle he went from 60 to 100 in no time compared to the stock engine.

Just by the video I can assure you his 0 to 60 must be in the low 5s high 4s < Completely bound to Tire Traction cuz that thing SLIPS!!!

I know the feeling. My old 3.2 was fast (very low 13 car with good traction) This thing makes it seem slow in comparison. What the camera cant pick up is the feel and pull it has along with the responsiveness of the engine (you can see how fast it drops between shifts)

I have the mother of all tripods for cameras . But vids are random right now. 0-60 isnt going to happen anytime soon. The snow tires will be going on soon. If my 255s cant get traction, there is no way my 215 snows will

Oh and 0-60s are for little kids. My power is designed for going around a track where you turn left and right

Do it...that by far would the best mod ever. And cheap a random bowl with a hole cut in. But don't forget to paint the car blue with a small flame behind the front tire.

It would totally be excellent and ready for party time.
