Yea I hope so too. I'll keep you posted on that. As you can see in the pics, I am going to be running the CL-S 6 speed rear mount and bracket.

The timing belt looks great. The motor is at 145K so the belts and pump were done back at just over 100. I am putting in some fresh NGK Iridium IX's though.

Good call on the plugs, if the t-belt was done than no worries for another 45k.

First off, the motor that I had originally bought, which was a 6 Speed motor, was crap, there was no compression on any of the cylinders. So I had to swap it out with another motor from an auto, but luckily I was smart enough to remove the necessary sensors and harnesses to make the engine a manual engine.

After that I installed the new motor and everything else for like the 5th time, and the son of a bitch started. I was so freakin happy. At first it was in safe mode and I thought that it must have had to do with my timing, but it was my idle air control valve. So I swapped throttle bodies, and it ran perfect. No jumping rev, and vtec like a motherfucker. It feels great to drive this car, I cant even describe the feeling, I want to race everybody. lol.

I found my notebook where i did some of the doodling with the different wires. I can scan it for you, but i dont know how much will be the same with you having a 99.

Good work kris. Its well worth it. Wish i was closer to come give a hand

Well, I need to order a flywheel (the clutch set that I got new only came with the clutch and pressure plate) and the manual starter. I won't be able to get those here until Thursday, though.

Hey kris (mod), the auto sensors, question.. the countershaft and speed shaft sensors.... Although they put out a different signal than the MT sensors, if i were to insert those two sensors into the MT, do you think anything could possibly work to get v-tec, or at least a reading off the speedo? I mean, would the sensors be too big? Look at this pic from richie's post back when he was doing the harness for the 6MT:

what do you think? If you want, i'll take pics of the sensors that come out of the CL-S tranny and compare with the 4AT sensors.

Definitely some time but I think I am going to wait until after I break it in and everything and get the harness made so everything is running right.

sweet dude, if you can scan those that would be great. I just wanna see the 03 wiring, cause I have all the wiring for the 99. It sucks not being able to move my seats, open my sunroof, or lock my doors with the switch.

its stupid fast for a TL... ill admit that. But you gotta remember, he's still using the TL-P engine. So while it wont be as fast, it'll still be faster than it was. I say you post video of you cruising around (with someone else filming of course) after all is said and done.

We've got the car mostly back together and running, but when you start it, it just shoots up to 3K RPMs. We've cleaned out the IACV and still can't fix the idle. We're going to check all the vac lines for a leak and see if that fixes it.

Well, we just got back from the drive and everything feels great. The clutch is going to take some getting used to (it's very touchy compared to my old Civic). You can REALLY feel the Innovative mounts through the whole car. At a certain point of pushing the gas down (under load) you can feel the whole car shake but you can definitely feel it getting the power down better.

We could've done it in probably 2-3 days if it wasn't for all of the hiccups and extra parts I had to order.

Well, we finally took off the sensor from the IACV so we could really get inside it and cleaned it out real good with carb cleaner and brake parts cleaner. When I turn it on the RPMs shoot up and you just have to rev it up a bit to get the valve unstuck and it idles normal (until the next time you turn it off and back on again).

looks real good kris! sounds like you might need a new sensor in the IACV (bummer). on a side note have you fully bleed the cooling system for air? I had a bouncing idle on an accord because there was air in the cooling system. looks like you need to clean the air filter, and adjust the e-brake lol. nice work.

Yea, the IACV is definitely shot. I'm going to pick up a new one but this one can work for the time being. Why do you say I need to clean my air filter and adjust the parking brake?

Here's a video of it starting -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sdp-g0K5x2Q
I'll post up some more when I get home from work
