Well it stopped raining for a few minutes so I took off the passenger side A-pillar and put in my USB GPS antenna. You almost can't see it, but it's the black box between the two lighter colored plastic clips. I'm going to have it hooked to my laptop for now, but it will eventually go to my carputer.

Well, after a long trial and error, my car is finally done. Well sort of. I still need to do some wiring and what not, but the car drives like a champ, and I have never been so happy..... I think I almost started crying.
First off, the motor that I had originally bought, which was a 6 Speed motor, was crap, there was no compression on any of the cylinders. So I had to swap it out with another motor from an auto, but luckily I was smart enough to remove the necessary sensors and harnesses to make the engine a manual engine.
After that I installed the new motor and everything else for like the 5th time, and the son of a bitch started. I was so freakin happy. At first it was in safe mode and I thought that it must have had to do with my timing, but it was my idle air control valve. So I swapped throttle bodies, and it ran perfect. No jumping rev, and vtec like a motherfucker. It feels great to drive this car, I cant even describe the feeling, I want to race everybody. lol.

dude, I cant even remember how my car use to run, I know it wasnt as fast as this though. I raced Frank 2K3_TLS last night when I was in safe mode, and was still beating him.... not by much but thats without vtec. I have a hard time keeping traction in second gear. I love it, I always want to go to the store now hahaha.

A rare sight... Joe reading a manual and Paul (salvo24)... don't look so happy to be there Paul
Yours truly
John decided to show up and help out
Putting the hose for the air compressor together
Working into the night...
Rotors haven't been used in a while
Pimpin since been pimpin since been pimpin since been pimpin
We've got the coolant and power steering fluids drained, all the hoses and wires disconnected from the motor, everything for the suspension undone so we can get the axle out of the way, all 3 motor mounts and both trans mounts disconnected, header manifolds undone from the downpipe. The motor is getting pulled tomorrow morning to hook up the new trans and put new motor mounts in.
We'll probably work on the front suspension while the front is still jacked up. I need to get the manual starter (apparently the auto starter is too big for the 6 speed) as well and have to wait til Monday morning and drive up to Georgia and pick it up if an Autozone (already checked Advance) in town doesn't have one.
That's it until the morning.....

Great pictures! Looks like you guys are having a hell of a time. Just a bit of advice, make sure you put towels/blankets down on the fenders if you're going to be leaning against them. No need for scratches from a belt buckle or anything.

I broke alot of it down for every one, included part#s and pics. And i also stated that if you were honestly attempting it and ran into issues i would help out as much as possible (via PM or a thread on it)

There is WAY too much involved to try and make a DIY for this. It could be done, but it would take a lot of time and that is something I don't have a lot of right now.
More pics on the way.....

^ Man.... listen. when it comes to DIY's, ANYTHING's possible... I mean, joe's already making a DIY for the xs power kit over in the accord forums, STEP BY STEP with pics and everything. And that's actually just as equal in involvement as this project. It's possible to make a DIY, joe can make one for you guys, just let us know and he'll take pics and vids us and post them over in the accord forum since he's banned over here. Just ask/remind us if need be.
off topic:
hey kris, you up stairs? l went looking for you outside, don't see you anywhere... I KNOW you're on here.. lol

Let's get started
A look from underneath at the bolts for the e-brake and cables
To the left are the cable bolts and to the right are the two rear e-brake bolts
Front suspension out
Grinding away
Taking apart the suspension to get the axle out
Front left axle out
Knocking the front right out
Getting there...
We took off the A/C compressor from the motor instead of pulling the hose and draining the fluid so I wouldn't have to get it recharged. The last bolt was kind of stubborn.
Trying to get that last A/C compressor bolt
Finally out
Empty bay
Getting the flex plate bolts off
Where the axle goes
Innovative side mount
Innovative side mount
Innovative rear mount
Innovative front mount
What an idiot...
Grinding some more...
Look!! A 6 speedl!
Pushing the auto trans to the backyard

I don't know if you said so anywhere else, but I suggest chainging the plugs and timing belt/waterpump while that motor is out of the car. Do as much maintence as possible. Love the pics. lol Looks like a lot of fun.
