hey guys i got an email from jack on tuesday because i took over mr. hyde's spot on the groupbuy and he told me that todd would be in touch with me when they were getting close to the ship date...

Everyone keeps saying they are going to contact either Jack or Todd but no one has posted a response.. I would call them but I figure everyone else is saying they are going to so I've been holding off..

From what I understood from the last email is that Todd will contact us again and ask for payment info when they are ready to send the Uni-Chip. I take this as wait until Todd sends another email.

Todd called me yesterday afternoon. He was suppose to email me, but he never did about the status update. so I'm going to just post what he told me.
"Unichip's schedule ship date as been pushed a week out because they were short on materials durning the build, so a lot of the components needed arrived at their factory late."
Todd has also requested me to ask you guys to take it easy on the emails to him. He is doing everything he can to get his job done, but a lot of his work time is being taken up by doing emails (he says). But at the sametime, he completely understands where everyone here is coming from. But instead of responding to everyone's emails, he could spend more time chasing down products and materials builds.
My thoughts. I told him that if he could be more proactive in providing us, or even just me with more regular updates, then we wouldn't have to email him all the time. I told him even if he just send me an email, I usually will post it here within 24hrs. So let's see how well this works out. But, they will get the products soon from their warehouse, and soon this GB will be all overs.

Ok, Just spoke with Jack and there are a few things holding it up.. The units are built and ready to ship from his vendor to him.. From there it would just be programmed for the people with the basic mods and the PnP to be built.. I asked him in his mind what the next reasonable target date is and he said the first of June..
I also mentioned to him that Todd hasn't sent out or really responded to many "update" questions.. And if they can just keep atleast one of us informed that we would pass the info along..

We'll still see the improvement even in the hot weather.
The humidity is more of a power killer anyway.
Here in my new home town of Vegas, I don't have the humidity problem, as it's usually below 10%.

I would hope so. Dont want to send out 30+ chips and find out it doesnt work.
I'm getting excited though, its so close and everything is coming together. too bad I'm gonna wait til fall to try for a 13 second slip when it gets a little colder out

They tested the first time around when my car was there for the tuning. This time is just to put the production harness into my car, and restore my ECU harness back to stock form.

I dont know why everyone is sweating the install so much. a few people have mentioned it. its seriously the easiest install you'll do for any mod on the CLS.
I'm sure it will come with install instructions, and there are instructions somewhere in this thread, search the thread ..
Its just a matter of pulling back the rug, unplugging the harness, plugging in chip, and plugging harness back into chip. If you can use an extension cord you can install this chip.
