Sure spend a months pay on the RDX motor, you'll still be getting stomped on at the track by a 17 yr old in a WRX.
All that you say is true, but it still would be nice to to get a little more power out of the RDX. One of the reasons I got this car over the 2013 is because usually turbo cars can see some pretty big gains with small modifications if we get just a little support from the aftermarket. With Hondata and guys like Jason and other companies that have supported this model RDX, it has been pretty good up until this point despite the type of vehicle we have. I think we have been fortunate up until now for the modifications we do have.

Personally I sold my 643whp CRX. Which I enjoyed but sat around due to spending more time with family. Owning the RDX and ability/option to make it more spirited to drive is a plus.

It was a decision between RDX and FX35. The room in was better. If I would have bought the Infiniti I would have bought the VorTech kit.

I am glad we RDX'ers have some support!

643hp CRX? Wow, I'm giving you a bow at my desk right now. That is impressive. I'll bet that tiny little Honda body was crying everytime you stepped on the gas!! Kind-of like the sound my feet make when I try to run.

The donut needed to make these just came in. Jason should have it early next week and it should be a pretty quick turnaround. I hope to have this made in the next two weeks.

Jason just got a new TIG welder and the hi flow cat should be with him before the weekend. Promises to post pcs once complete. Not sure how many he can do with a single donut...more than 1, that's all I know. This unit will be similar to user65's that was just tested with the newly developed FlashPro as a FYI.

Not sure yet on price...STILL waiting to have him build this for me. I am being told "a couple more weeks" now that he was recently flooded with new projects that are a higher priority than our precious down pipe and mid pipe.

I do know he planned on making this with a V band connector to the exhaust. If memory serves, it allows for a quicker connection and should work with both stock exhaust and in my case, 3" piping. I still plan on having this entirely made of stainless and include a hi flow cat in the mid pipe.

I will keep everyone posted once I hear something...sux that it has taken this long. I totally did not expect Hondata to beat him to production on this!

UPDATE:

I haven't looked how far back or how much I posted, but I was one of the first or in first handful of RDX owners to buy and install the DP. My mind is a bit foggy from no sleep so I can't think of who made mine.

I had mine installed for almost 3 years now. I was having noise issues with my pipe which I assumed was bad/poor seal about the flange or welded areas near the midpipe.

Nope:

I got the RV6 pipe sent in a day and now installed. Paid to have it done due to kids and travel schedule. Sucks that it ended up costing me another $700+ after what I already spent but that is life. Maybe I should start a fund to recoup costs for being one of the test mules for this.

With my new shocks, springs, struts, end links, filters, oil, wipers and everything else I have dropped almost $2000 into this car over the last month. Up until this I had only replaced plugs, trans fluid, battery, ignition switch outside of oil changes in 100K. Still not bad.

Nasty! Mild thin walled steel. How many of these are out there?

Heat wrap shouldn't matter with quality materials.
