I bought some new JL front and rear speakers for the TL. The TR series, should sound good offa the factory amp. Picking up a JL 10w3, JL 700 amp and box off of a friend tommorrow for stupid cheap too. Going to enjoy some beats

Also picked up a pioneer avh-1400 double din for the 240sx for 170 bucks. Not bad considering retail is 350. I wanted to buy a new ultra book, but couldnt find one that tickled my fancy for the price.

You?

I didn't really get much "deals", but picked up a bunch of gear for a winter hike. Equipment gets expensive quick.

I really want to do an audio setup for my car. My stock sub rattles like crazy when it's cold. I should really fix that one of these days.

You'll love the JL audio sound! I got a JL rear deck speakers with sub and amp with alpine doors. Sounds much better than stock for sure haha. My buddy picked up the Pioneer AVH-P8400BH, has a 7.1 screen for around 300 ish and my other friend got a Escort 9500 carbon fiber race edition radar from visions for $450 + $70 4 year warranty.

What a giant fucking pain in the ass it was to install new speakers in that car.

Had to make new mdf rings for mounting the speakers, cut chunks out of the door so that the speakers fit in nicely.

I totally look forward to removing all the back panels again when I do my suspension....not.

Oh and to top it all off, I blew my factory amp after finishing the last speaker. Blah.

Still havent gotten it back yet hey? I only get sound out of the rear speakers since the amp is blown. I need to find a new factory amp, or a cheap decent 5 to 6 channel amp and do a good chunk of rewiring.

Yeah man I keep telling myself I'll fix it but never get around to doing it.

Lol that has swayed me from wanting to get a full out audio setup. I'd probably just go for a sub and amp, keeping the speakers stock so I don't have to go through that hassle

My friend that works at black gold sourced me a factory amp out of ontairo for 100 + 30shipping...

@Tai - I can ask for a high res version.

@Jeff - Yeah I should be okay. I was taken away in an ambulance as a precautionary measure to make sure my neck wasn't fractured but I checked out fine. The CR-V will most likely be a write off with the extent of the damage. I was on my way out of the city to Banff too. Junk way to end my winter break.
