@Vince, I'm probably gonna get some tint done before summer. Thinking around 20% or so for the rear and maybe a 50up front.

Even though it was depressing as hell to get all this snow, I didn't mind it too much. Spend most of the day inside at work anyways and if I had to go anywhere I just drove around a F350 Diesel lol.

Snowplowed my way home too, only got stuck right in front of my house. Hence the snow blower lol.

The latest snowstorm has created more potholes from the freeze thaw cycle. Do you guys go about reporting them? I try to remember where they are but by the time I consciously get to a computer I forget the exact location.

What does everyone have planned for mods this spring/summer? Here's my tentative list:

Paint front a-spec lip KBP, install full a-spec kit
Refinish wheels, will be attempting a DIY
Remove rust from rotors, install RDX brake covers, paint remaining caliper black
Remove rust from wheel well lip (accumulated from tires rubbing last summer)
Convert fog light area grill to match centre grill
Re-vinyl front grill (partially bunched up in one corner), also re-vinyl all interior CF pieces
Re-install roof spoiler, need to find some window weld
Install glossy CF wrap on roof
Hack navi to delete the screen with "Ok" and place custom background
Annual paint correction

That's all I've decided on for now. Most likely will be tinkering with the list based on time, change of plans, and budget.

Anybody come across a front bumper for a Gen3 TL?
Nighthawk Black Pearl is the colour, if i could find one to match, that would be sweet!
And im having an issue with my hands free.
I have done some research and found that the module burnout seems to be a common problem with Acuras.
I dont care too much that it isnt working, but it draws from the battery and if i let my baby sit for a few days, it kills the battery.
Some say you can just disconnect the module.
Can anybody confirm this?

Anyone have any 18 inch wheels for sale per chance? Ideally gold or bronze?

Looking for something for my ILX

@ Vince - Yeah I have a huge list of stuff to do
Plasti dip my front grill and emblems
Aspec kit is being installed as we speak
Put my coils on, drop her at least 2 inches
Replace my brakes, bought some beastly slotted Rotora's.

Speaking of brakes, does anybody recommend a shop? I really hate going to Acura cause they charge up the ass.

@Vince
are you gonna do the roof yourself or take it to the shop?

My list so far for 2013
replace plastidip grill with vinyl wrap
gloss black roof
Rims
RDX caliper covers
ATLP Exhaust
maybe replace fog light housing?!

Today it was warm enough so i put my roof spoiler back on and re did the vinyl on the back chrome bar of the TL (had some ugly looking one before)

@EDMGenerTL
I honestly think you're better off ordering a brand new bumper from Ack, i doubt you'll find a bumper anytime soon, also im certain you can disconnect the HFL

Any of you guys down for a meet this weekend?! it's been a while lol

@Simon - Arthur is selling his BBS LM setup. Not your preferred color but gorgeous wheels nonetheless.

@Aaron - How much did the rotors run you? Order online? I believe I have to replace rotors for either the front or rear, can't remember which side, and get new brake pads as well.

Getting spacers as well? I run 25mm in the back and 20mm in the front when lowered and it's relatively flush.

@Tai - DIY ftw man! Hardest part about the roof will be the xm antenna. Most likely will have a relief cut due to the curvature. I'll try to place the cut in the least noticeable spot though.

Did you use JB weld to mount the spoiler?

Lol I cringe at how you place items on the top of your trunk. Think of the paint! The paint!

^nice lists of upgrades for the summer everyone!

@Simon - I know someone on my TSX forums selling a set of BBS LM in gold for $2650 shipped, I can talk to him about pricing. I bought my wheels off him last summer. I know they aren't 18s but 17's would look pretty good on an ILX too.
BBS LM 17x9+35 17x8+35 5x114.3 $2650 obo shipped

@Simon - What tire size did you buy? This guy carries tons of wheels used and new, like he collects them. What wheel specs are you looking for?

@ Vince - Front and rear + brake pads, it was just under $600 all together. My friend owns Invision on the southside, so I just picked it up from him. Yeah I'm going to get spacers. Do you think you could post pictures of how flush your wheels are?

@you8myrice - Thanks bud, i will disconnect this weekend when i get a chance.

Here is a list of things i would like to add to my TL this summer
1- paint front silver grill black.
2- new set of wheels, not sure what yet, but something other than the stock rims. i will keep them for winter.
3- vinyl coverings on the interior silver peices. going with the carbon fiber look.
4- paint all the badging red. i want a red/black look. thinking it will be pretty nice.
5- replace windsheild, since we live in alberta lol. it was brand new last summer, but alas, needs to be replaced again.
6- replace broken front bumper. gonna try and find one with the fog lights.
7- cold air intake kit.
8- red pinstriping along center of doors. '
Most of these are just cosmetic. but my TL is my daily driver. and i have kids. so no need to go to crazy with it..... Yet!

Well since everone's posting, here's my list:
- Replace 3M CF hood
- 3M CF Roof
- Coilovers
- Possible replacement of body kit ( victim of rediculously deep pot holes )
- 10mm or 15mm spacers

@Aaron - Sadly this is probably the best shot I have of my fitment. Strangely I never bothered to take pictures of it from a direct side view.

Post where you end up going to get your rotors installed! I might have to get my brakes done this summer too.

@Tai - Be sure to check if it's still sticking after a few days or a week. I had used the 2 strips of provided 3m tape and adhesive down the centre. At first, it stayed on tight but eventually got loose on one side.

Do you have a particular set of wheels in mind to purchase? One annoying thing will be if you don't get TPMS for them, you'll get that indicator every time you turn on the car

@Jeff - Where's your list? There's no way you can be done modding

Everyone else, nice lists! It's always nice seeing how everyone likes to personalize their cars and make it more distinct than stock.

@Jeff - Lol nothing related to your paint?

@Quyen - Powder coating is quite expensive too. If I remember correctly it could fetch close to $150/wheel.

@Tai - All good I'd get varrostoen's too if I were planning to get wheels. I could care less to get authentic wheels when the reps have been shown to be quite reliable. Just don't go and try to pass them off as the real thing though haha. There is a distributor down in Calgary called "Autodream".

@TYPE-S-VTEC- Welcome! Sorry haven't seen anyone here chime in with a Legend. I don't see too many on the road. Quite a rare sight!

Welcome! It'd be cool to see your Legend, I think my old CL was one of the older Acuras that popped up here lol. We have AZine meets every now and then, but the 780 summer meets are just around the corner (every Friday night).

I'm gonna jinx it... but I'm right tempted to already throw my summers on ahaha.

@Tai - I'd do 18's. Getting springs or coilovers would compliment new wheels quite nicely

@Aaron - I won't be able to make a meet until closer to the end of the month. Got finals coming up in 2 weeks.
