You don't drive your TL in the winter? Lol I bought my RL because I wanted something decent for year 'round driving. Bit it's nice to see you take good care of your cars like that.

ya I'm selling the Tl I think I have a buyer though. I baught it used at 26kilometres for a decent summer car. I had a Honda accord sitting around so I thought I would keep the tl looking new and drive the accord in winter. Anyone know someone selling a 3g tl?

^Get a type-s while you're at it

A big thanks goes out to Myron for helping me crack open my headlights and mod them earlier today. We went from around 11AM to past 7PM. He worked on putting in the zkw-r lenses while I carbon fiber wrapped my amber pieces. At last the amber delete is done! Modded headlights certainly add a nice touch to the overall appearance of the car and helps you be more unique from other TL's. Highly recommended mod.

damn man that's a sweet thing you did, save a 2G. I think that car with a lip kit and a drop is very very sexy.

Yea I just hope we sealed them properly. I mean, this is the best set of headlights (out of 3 now) that I have done. Nothing broke, nothing messed up, and everything went smoothly when putting it back together and everything lined up perfectly.

Did you mess with the headlights to adjust them properly and how is the cut off?

So far the seal is holding up well. The car was left outside overnight and when I went to work this morning they were fine. There was condensation all over the windows but luckily nothing inside the lights.

The cut off isn't bad. Does yours have like 2 steps to it on the right side? Imagine a staircase, I think I've seen most people have one step but mine seems like it has 2. I didn't adjust the headlights yet, maybe that will fix it.

So it turns out there is a video on youtube that v-leds posted showing how to install the 6K DRL kit. I tried installing it for over 2 hours, hooking everything up in the exact same way they did. Still, no light. I'm thinking one of my parts are defective. Whether it be the relay harness, resistor plates, or the bulbs itself. I've contacted v-leds customer service and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Quite a few people seem to have problems with this kit. It's not like their issues are all the same either. I should have taken Sanjay's kit instead

I don't understand what you mean by 2 step on the right side.

I'll even them out later tonight. Been in contact with v-leds customer service, they're sending me a new relay. Hopefully this solves the problem.

Slapping the winter tires on already Arthur? I think I'll hold off for a few more weeks or until first snowfall. I'll probably we applying a different layer of wax this weekend to prepare for our painful winter. This wax should last through the entire winter, yes it's that durable. This stuff is used for boat applications so you get an idea of what it can withstand.

sorry guys i was MIA! welcome to the new comers!...headlights look really good vince! so does anyone know the difference between the front a spec lip between 2004 and the 2006 (with fog lights)? I hit a fox or coyote last week when i was on the road trip. its not bad but it cracked the lip and the bumper at lower right hand side corner. so i am thinking of going thru insurance and getting a new bumper and front lip. maybe a 2006 bumper with fogs...thanks for the help guys.

Bumper is a direct bolt on I believe. I am not sure about the grill pieces tho, I think that the type s has a different grill so grill pieces aren't interchangeable. Not sure about the base 07/08 grill. Depends on what you like but I would go with a 07/08 front bumper and base a-spec. I hate type s front a-spec, it's so bulky and looks like an ugly chin haha

Thanks Gnuey_M! Do you still have your csx-s? I spotted 2 TL-S's on the way out from St.Albert. My car is so filthy though I'm ashamed to be driving it around town It will be clean this weekend though when I layer the shit out of it with wax for winter.

@riicky - Yes the type-s front grille is different than the 04-06 grilles, they dip down an inch or two lower, can't confirm for the 07-08 grilles though. I'd recommend the combo Myron suggested as well. There is a good reason I don't have an a-spec kit right now. I'm not a fan of the type-s front aspec lip at all. I want a custom 04-06 front lip but that will depend on my funds after coilovers & maybe wheels.

Lol yep I had to do a u-turn there. I was following my navi which is a bit out of date so it told me to turn on 156st while I was on the opposite direction of yellowhead. I might get the new map update after all the anthony henday construction is complete. A lot of the time when I'm driving and look at my navi, it thinks I'm driving in a field or the middle of nowhere.

I think they do fit if you modify it a little. I am not sure how much modification is gonna be needed, but you will have to touch it up with paint after too because I think there is some minor trimming, especially around the foglights. I think I have seen this before. Search sucks on this forum so just type what you want in google followed by acurazine. That works much much better.

Here you go buddy, this was one of those: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/used-nbp-aspec-front-lip-04-06-converted-fit-07-08-base-754416/

http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=787022

so it can be done.

Yeah i do.. unfortunately I'm still debating on whether or not to wait for a complete refresh of the vehicle I'm planning on getting (which nobody has guessed yet still) or just pull the trigger, put the csx up for sale, and get the new vehicle now. ugh decisions decisions...

Hey guys I have an unorthodox racing underdrive light weight pulley and a longer belt for sale for a 3G. I got it used from a member on here a bit more than a year ago, and never installed it. It doesn't have a lot of miles on it either, the belt that I got was used but it looks brand new. New these go for 200$ and you need to get a longer belt as well, at least 20$ or more + shipping and taxes. If anyone is interested PM me for price

My parents Got a new car and gave me my 2G back. So I'm in a tl again. Paint is in a pretty bad shape but other than that it's going pretty good. It's a 99 215000km. And no problem I just googled that and those are the first 2 threads that popped up.
