Welcome Mark! You have the sickest nsx. So much win

@Tai - Mag blue is a really nice color. Should have gotten your car repainted to that

@Arthur - Are you doing a part out and selling the car? Let's swap exhausts

@Sanjay - Very nice! Tracker says mine should be arriving on Thursday. Lets hope my kit doesn't have any mishaps like a few of the other members.

Specs of wheels are 18x8.5 +38 and 18x9.5 +38

Vince, yes, I will have to part out my car. And yes, I will be asking you Type-S guys if you want to swap exhaust.

Jeff, I'm going to part out everything except the A-Spec kit and sell the car in stock form.

Quyen, I will only be away for a couple of years. Its just not practical to bring the TL. I will be driving a 4cyl 07 Accord.

That sucks, but may your endeavors be good to you.

You should make a list of the stuff you're gonna part out and let people bid for em

LOL my bad, didn't know. You must do that exhaust justice and rock it with Vossens

Package came in 1 day earlier than expected. The focus on my phone is dying. Seems like a common issue with the S2's:

I goofed up! Wrong order ahhhh

Haha but yeah as Tai said, going custom instead. Not a fan of how the type-s lip sits. I wanted to do the 04-06 lip since it looks nice with the gray part but that would involve way too much work. I'd probably have to take it into a body shop since it requires so much molding. With the 07-08 base lip, it's a tight fit and requires a bit of cutting but a doable DIY.

@Tai - We're posting because they just came in off the GB. It doesn't count when you've already had it for several months and it has been installed
You going to pick up those te-37's?

@Sanjay - Did you order another roof spoiler? Or did you pull it off your car?

Haha, no more Vossens, they don't come in the size that I want and they wont make them either, I already have a new wheel picked out that ill be ordering in January.

Nah I didn't pull it off. It actually blew off on the Henday two weeks ago when it was super cold out. Going to need a stronger adhesive. It lasted from May to November. Not bad I guess..

@Vince - Ah I see, are you molding the lip to the bumper? I think someone posted about it a couple months back, can't wait to see the kits on haha

@Sanjay - What are you getting now? haha hopefully my roof spoiler doesn't fly off, this is the 2nd winter I've had it on now and it seems ok so far lol

@Sanjay - Orly? Which wheels are you going with? Yeah I was considering using window weld when I installed the spoiler but just used the supplied adhesive since I wasn't sure if I would keep the CF wrap on it. Let's hope it doesn't fly off anytime soon.

@Jeff - The 07-08 base lip I got won't require molding. A bit of cutting at the edges and brute force to get it on.

Sadly that's similar to how much I had to pay when I got their V2 switchbacks. I'm not a big fan of v-leds. Paid $100 for their DRL kit and never ended up working, even after they sent me replacement parts. Big fail on their part. Many other members reported problems too. Must be why they don't sell it anymore since they could never get it working.

@Jeff - I cant argue with you there to be honest. I thought i saw a few around the city, i only saw one exactly like mine in vancouver but that was about it.

@Sanjay - Do you need a relay or something for the DRL's to prevent a code or something.

@Sanjay - Lol you're one of the lucky few who had an actual working kit. I guess my bulbs work at least. Until I dropped one bulb and now only half the leds light up. It likes to flicker every now and then too. I ordered a new bulb off ebay and when I went to install it, it broke as I was twisting it in. Sigh...

@Quyen - Yes for the DRL kit you need a relay harness, resistors, and led bulbs. At least that's how it is for the TL. The purpose of the relay harness is to supply full power to the leds, otherwise they would be getting something like half the power since the car assumes it's a regular bulb. You can run without a relay harness, but the leds won't be at maximum output. The resistors prevent the error code on the dash from popping up.

I never installed the resistors because the plugs were different. It does have a relay harness though, and my DRL light is on, on my dash, but it doesnt bother me. Probably because my TSX was the same way when I disabled the DRL's and rolled around everywhere with park lights and fogs on.

That would be the 04-06 a-spec lip. I considered going that route but it would cost way too much $$ in the end. The guy said it ran him something like $400-$500 to get it molded and painted. Add another $200ish to buy the lip itself and the cost he paid for the front lip equals the cost of an entire kit lol. I'll stick to the 07-08 base lip since it compliments the body lines nicely and is relatively subtle.

Lol indeed. Maybe I'll consider going that route if the TL ever becomes a summer only car. It would suck to have it destroyed by accidentally sliding into a snow bank or any of the other damages that may be incurred by winter.

Both of my switchbacks are starting to die...lasted a year and a half. The white stays lit no problem, but the orange will stop flashing after about 10 flashes or not flash at all. Lame!

Yet because they looked so damn good, Im going to buy another set, those Triton V3's from vled's look pretty sweet!

Same, I was thinking of upgrading to a 4th gen SH-AWD 2009 TL, but I don't like the giant fat ass that car carries around. But hey FWD is still better then those RWD =)

Hellllllllll no. I would much prefer to drive RWD year around then FWD. Only reason why Im still rocking the TL is because there isnt that many cars out there RWD that are equally as comfy and have all the creature comforts that my type s has. Lexus IS350 is the closest competitor imo. After I buy a place, the TL will be retired and Ill be moving onto an ISF!

I hope that by "giant fat ass that car carries around" you're referring to the back of my car, and not to me personally.

Lol my switchbacks are still okay *knock on wood*. I have working switchbacks but a junk DRL kit, vice versa for you. I hope I don't have to replace them but if I do, those V3's would most likely be on my list too.

Question for you guys...does the TL type s or 06-08 headlights fit 04 TL. Same ballast works? All holes are the same? any modifications needed? any info would be helpful. I am getting a mix answer from searching around. thanks

Haha, i cursed myself, my DRL kit is crapping out too. Every once in a while the passenger side wont turn on unless I cycle them.

They will bolt in the same no problem. But base TL's have their highbeams as a separate bulb, and the turn signal is a different bulb. A little bit of wiring will needed, simple wiring. In the Type S headlight the highbeam and lowbeam are the same bulb, with an adjuster that aims the bulb upward when you turn on highbeams if that makes sense.
