Vince didn't buy that module. he got something else and it's weird that it doesn't work on his car and it works on sanjay's perfectly.

LOL nice costume Myron. I wanted pedo bear... no luck finding a full body costume for that. So disappoint.

@Arthur - Yeah I saw those coilovers a while back. I'm tempted but.. funds. BUT! they are type 2. I kind of hope they go lower in price lol. I'll probably be heading down to the Montana shipping outlet next May to pick up a bunch of stuff from the states to avoid the insane shipping charges. I might pick up some car parts while I'm at it. I imagine shipping coilovers across the border wouldn't be exactly cheap.

Yeah I bought the v-leds DRL kit. Here is a link to the thread outlining the gong show https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...5#post13327225
I've been sending e-mails back and forth with the customer service at v-leds. They're now sending me a new harness since the replacement relay they sent me does next to nothing. If this doesn't fix the issue, I really don't know what will.

You and I both dude, hoarding money and parts this winter to recondition the thing in the spring, and maybe a full repaint

Damn Sanjay a full repaint? I thought you just needed to blend the driver side. Are you going to redo the car in a completely different color?

Hey if the new harness doesn't fix my issue, do you mind if I test out your DRL kit on my car to see if it works? It's driving me nuts trying to fix it.

Lol also, can you give me a run down on how to use bondo? I want to patch up my bumper/quarter panel since I finally got my touch up paint in.

There is touchup paint all over the car which I dislike alot, a repaint will make me feel better. Same color. Yeah we could do that, although I have zero interest in pulling my bumper off in cold weather, even though it takes me 5 mins to do! lol

First time i used bondo I literally followed the instructions on the can, golf ball sized amount on a mixing pad, 1inch line of hardner, mix it till its one solid color and you got about 5 mins to work with it before it goes hard. PS. Bondo...or otherwise known as body filler should not be used on plastic.

Speaking of body work, this is what ive been doing with the s13 over the past little while.

How come you would need to pull off your bumper? I thought you only used the bulbs and harness. Didn't you just tuck the harness underneath the hood trim closest to the front bumper?

Oh crap am I looking at using fiberglass to repair my bumper instead? I'm ultra noob with bodywork here. Btw, the KBP engine bay is sick.

Also, would I be able to get your resistors from the DRL kit off you since you don't use them? Looks like v-leds customer service is sending me a new harness but not a new resistor even though that went bad.

Post a pic of your bumper damage. I threw the resistor packs out, they didnt even have the same clips for the harness. I routed my wiring behind the bumper rebar and zip tied it all for a cleaner look

Well, looks like the car is getting paint sooner now, someone backed into my bad door and ran, what are the chances of that.

Vincent, that is so minor, maybe a hint of spot filler and paint.

G35x's are still slower than TL's by a long shot

I have a question for you guys. So I'm using a FM transmitter right now in my 05 TL, but I'm starting to hate it cause of distortion all the time and unclear reception.

What does everyone else use? It's lame that my TL doesn't come with an AUX input...

yea I think the g35x is slower than the TL. Well type s at least. But I like the g35(newere ones)/g37 sedans, so it's all good with me haha

I am brain storming about possible cars I might be interested in and M35x is pretty high on my list.

my buddy has one of those and I am not really a fan of the interior. But I wouldnt' kick it out of the garage either. + I like the reliability of jap cars. Also considering M35x. But have been itching for some EURO love so I don't know what I really want.

there is isimple that hooks up to the back of your headunit. I had something like that in my TL, no FM trans. But it wasn't isimple, it was something else. Older brand.

Anything that has to be plugged in the back of the stereo on this car is a pain in the ass. Just ask jbond when he was installing a headunit in my 2G. You pretty much have to take apart the whole center console to get to the back of the headunit. But the unit itsself is just plug and play I think.

@Sanjay - Can you advise as to where I can pick up some spot filler? I looked on the Canadian tire site but couldn't come across any.

@Myron - Damn don't M35x's eat gas like crazy? Go for an m3 or C63 AMG lol. Like a boss!

@Justin - Lol wow didn't even put those shines on your car and for sale already? How's the dvd player holding up? Any issues yet? Would you be down to help me install? I'm looking at picking up all the parts in the near future.

want something to drive all year around, and c63 or m3 isn't gonna but it in the winter. M35x is pretty bad on gas but it's pretty boss. Slammed on some wheels, JDM VIP haha I am loving audis lately, love the interior and awd so might looking into that too. THere are too many nice cars out right now, so many to choose from
