so i got my car back today...new tranny.....they split the price of the motor mounts with me... $290 for motor mounts, new ecu, reset SRS light, and new tranny. Not bad overall.

 

hes back on the road....er....wait.... oh shit hes back on the road....lol!

oh man sam can drive man... we went down the road and he made a u-turn.. but not any ordinary u-turn.. he fucking puts it in 2nd... lets the car slow a little.. drops it in first... turns the wheel gives it gas, the front wheels breaks loose, he pulls the e-brake, pulls the rear end around and stomps on the gas and we are off.. a perfect 180 in a matter of 3 seconds.. i was like holy shit!!! why can't all my u-turns be that fun... imma meet up with him tomm afternoon.. try to diagnose a squeaky belt in han's car... seeing as how he used to work for toyota...

i would love to have it done by then.....only problem i've read so far is that focal mids are pretty big and dont fit into the stock holes w/o mods and spacers..also they need dampening to sound to their max or something like that....hopefully this wont b a super hard task

Believe me, if I were to get a moment with the bastard that whacked my car, I'd skip a beat and accidentally hurt someone. I'm not a violent person though. Aggression isn't the answer in this case. I have to deal with the fact that people do stupid things. It's my place to remember that I'm not one of those people.

tranny is running well....but i have not gotten it up over 105 yet...so we will see how it is at true speeds...

 

yeah i have my trunk and backseat covered with dynamat... i still have alot of it back home in jersey... bought it bulk on ebay... it really helps with the road noise...

will complete the rest of my interior when i find a new carpet for the car...

Hey guys the night before our meet (DEC 3rd) I am taking my wife out for her birthday to Petes Dualing Pianos. This is one of the most fun places Ive ever been too. If any of you want to come out and celebrate Karens birthday with me let me know. I will be making reservations this week or next.
