So last night i went to the Acura dealership to get my car washed. While there i was talking to the guys that i know, one of the owner’s sons and a sales person that we always use. great guys. While will chatting they happen to mention that they have a infinity G35. I of course being the dumb one say "o wow that is a nice car. i really like that car." to freaking sales people. So after i mention that they pull it up and hand me the keys to test drive it. Wow that car can go. especially compared to my TSX. It was a lot of fun and it being rear wheel drive i got a little drifting action, which was a lot of fun. Bad thing is that i can’t afford but truly like it and would love to have it. By the end of the night the sales guy that we always use was like i will work on numbers and get back to you. I tell this to my brother this morning and he doesn’t help at all either, he goes woo hoo lets go test drive it today! My brother just might be turning me into him with cars.

 

No doubt Kirk, I can't believe they didn't give you one that same day. Guess who I saw?? FunkeeTown! I told him about the Dec 4th meet and he will be there. He also said that he would try and get back the site when he can, but he's been busy with the new career.

 

What a great story!! I'm sure those salesmen were foaming at the mouth when you showed a little interest. The G35C is a bad ass car. I hope they can give you a kick ass deal

 

They would have to give me a kick ass deal for me to buy it. other wise i owe to much on my car to even think about buying it. BUT it was alot of fun to drive

Take my advice: Don't trade in your TSX for a G35. That's not exactly a wise move. A number of factors come to mind, but I won't go off on that tangent tonight. I hope that you take into consideration that when I give car advice, it's sufficient.

as for my car nothing has changed on it... just so busy (and broke now that I'm a student again) with school that I don't have any time to mod it. ATXTSX, don't get the G35... Iv'e got one and it's a great car but the gas mileage is ass... Lots of times I wish I still had the trunk space and gas mileage I used to get n my CLS 6MT...

23-25 is the best I can get on highway and 18 or 19 in the city... blows.

so the new tranny is running ok...but now when i start the car the "maint req" light flashes for about 20 seconds then goes off. has it always done that or is something wrong?

 

prolly coincidence -- just reset it and see if it comes back on.

Well got my LOANER today. A SATIN SILVER TSX Its got XM so thats kewl. They said it will probally be wednesday until i get my CL back o well. Someone elses miles not mine.

 

Nevermind about me taking my car on the drive this weekend. Something broke in the paint machine and they can't finish my car today. Looks like Monday or Tuesday, provided they get what they need for their machine. This is craptacular!!

I remember reading in the manual about the maintence light flashing for a couple hundred miles after the car has been serviced. It did that when I first bought my CL because the trans had just been replaced.

 

Yup, he bought my old Super Draggers and then a custom y-pipe made up at an exhaust shop.
