Sorry been busy with work and other crap. Man I cant wait to put it in already. I wont really have too much free time until next Sat (11/18) or Sun. Let me know which day works for u. One little problem though, I dont have that many tools anymore, gonna see if I can borrow from a friend. I still have to get an amp kit and whatever else I will need. Do you think it will be possible to hook everything up and still be able to use my stock HU? Or is it not worth it? I really wanted to sell that Eclipse but if its too much of a pain I might just throw in there.

Yea I have a drill....Dont know if I have any bits for it, but wont b a problem. The ride is '03. Is there some sort of connector that I can order to plug into the AUX out on the HU that would have RCAs on it? Sorta like a blitz for the ipod which btw I really need to invest in so I can hook my pod up.

 

Leo any car audio store should have the adapter piece i had one put in when i had my HU

 

it won't work... the AUX on stock HU are for input not output... thats how im getting sound from the carputer into the system... it just basically replaces your cd-changer option...

hence getting the sound from ipod to the system... same concept..

 

A ha...gotcha...ok well since we're gonna have my car torn into pieces anyways, I might as well buy that adaptor so I can hookup my ipod at the same time. Know where I can get one cheap oh and I'm gonna need only 1 hi/lo converter since I have one amp right?

I need to replace my door speakers and I already have some that I bought from elduderino (member on the board). I just want to get some experience and see how long and difficult of a job it is to take apart the CL. this is where i bought mine... just look for the one that will fit the rear of your stock HU... if u don't know we can just hold off on it and wait till we see the back of your HU before we buy it... it took me 5 mins to install in front of ethans house.. literally.. not long at all..

how many channel amp is it??? just post the model and ill look.. u may only need one, or maybe up to 3...

 

well i live in Addison and pretty sure leo lives up in Plano... but if he doesn't have a prob with it, im fine with another set of eyes... if u want we can make a proj into ur car also...
