Lets make it for later that day.......say around 5 or so. I think most of us are going to need to sleep off the night before. Bring a swim suit as well. Thats all I got for now.

Trance, I am really sorry to say that I have three business trips in the next ten days (LA, Pittsburgh, and Boston) and I will be out of town on Saturday and Sunday. These are last minute deals that I didn't think would come up. I don't mind travel but this home one or two nights and then back on the road sucks.

I sware this isn't to avoid the meet. Ask any of the old timers--I was a regular at the track and dyno days--even hosted an install meet when the Icebox first came out for the CL/TL's.

I didn't know you still had the CL, I just assumed you traded it in on the Vette.
So what exactly did you do to it? Those pics don't do much for me cause I can't remember what my engine normally looks like.

The reflash did much for the car. It's much more flexible throughout the rev range. You definately feel more available torque after the reflash. The rev limiter also jumped from 7100 to 7600. The high cam engages at 5k in stead of 6k too. This part really helps. Downshifting is also needed less frequently, being that the torque is more available at lower rpms.

 

Well . . . it's official. I'm toast this weekend.

We just got the tournament schedule for this weekend and we have a 6:30 game, so it a no go for this Joe.

I was hoping we'd get some earlier timeslots and be able to drop in and join some of the festivities, but alas . . . it's not to be.

Well to get on with Pratt you have to have alot of experience. Last week there operations manager was up at Raytheons hanger. We talked for a while. He asked me to send him a resume. So I did and he called me last night. So I met with him today. This would be a great opportunity for me. I would be a field rep for them. Man Im exicted.....now I wait.
