A: Damn Mavs! Love 'em, but they gotta get kickin... can't let SacTown win!

B: Welcome back Clark! It would be great if you could be out there.

C: Congrats on the interview. I personally can't stand VB. Google groups is a great resource for ANY programmer no matter what language you are fluent in. I use it for Java and C# all the time. I personally haven't had the chance to play with ASP yet, but I'll be tackling ASP.NET soon.

D: The biggest idiot to ever walk the planet. But be sure to wait till the end... your frustration will disappear. Oh! And I'm getting my twin blower with a turbo in a couple of months!

Cool I'll take a look there. I didn't know you were a programmer Casper, what all do you do at your job? Just curious.

More like what don't I do.

Sys Admin, Net Admin, Webmaster, Database Admin, and programmer.

I use SQL 2k, so if you need any help, I might be able to help you out. We also use old Dbase 3 (classic). I spend most of my time programming and maintaining our databases. And cruising forums!

Ok,

SpeedWorks FINALLY called me back and the guy told me that were unavailable for a Dyno day for the 24th, but they could do the 31st. I won't be able to get to the forums for a couple days, so PLEASE call me at 469-939-4654 so that I can know what's good for everyone. If the 24th is better for the majority, we'll go back to LoneStar.

Let me know,
Chris

Thanks for those camera choices Danny, the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-P92 looks extremely small, and fits what I'm lookin' for (at a glance anyway), hopefully it can fit fairly easily in my pocket, I might pic one up this weekend.

no problem, could you figure out what the difference was b/w that one and the P10 besides the battery type and size of memory stick?

Which battery is better, a Lithium Ion battery, or a Nickel Metal Hydride AA battery?

How about those Mavs!

They finally just played their style of game and guess what!!

Thump City!

Now, let's see them keep up the pressure.

Oh I'm so itching for a race day.

So I had to settle for surprising a couple of Mustang GTs. :P

There were two of them, one "Sliver gray' had a nice sounding exhaust the other stock looking. The stock looking one spotted the other "Blue" and made a move to catch up to him. The silver one played hard to get, all the while I'm catching up for a piece myself.

After a few lights I manage to be on the front verses the sliver and the blue one was right behind the sliver. It was a bit goofy off the line, but after I started to pull on the sliver one, he tried to make an agressive move shifting in to 2nd (yes manual) and he missed the gear and I pulled easily away.

After all that the guy messes up and looses. The blue one must of been a stock auto because he slowy fell back and caught up quickly after I shut down around 75.

Oh well, there's always another time.

got into another wreck yesterday... I was going straight trhough a yellow and the other guy was turning left into my path of traffic and I hit him... back to the shop she goes... damn! now my insurance might be cancelled. It's his fault but I'm having my insurance pay for now b/c I needed a rental... Anyways, I guess I'm screwed...

on the bright side though I just bought these off a guy on the board.

MFFL...???

Clark, let me know if you wanna meet up some time and see what the headers feel like.

Nice kills RUF.

That sucks civic, but I think I'd rather have insurance than a rental. Why don't you just have the other guys insurance pay and bum some rides, schools out, so you don't have to worry about driving there everyday.

It's good to hear you are still alive after all this time. I suppose it's because you've really been hitting the books.

Too bad about the wreck

Maybe you'd have better luck with a 350Z :P

I assuming you're going to be out in a few weeks. I hope you car is fixed by then so you can make the next race meet.

And I bet those gold sills will look really great on that black CLS of yours.

I think that's just bad lighting in that pic, they're probably the regular aluminum door sills.

Hang in there, Civic. At least nobody got hurt. I just got mine back from the shop Thursday night and it is fine (except the inside smells musty now--need to change the filter and hope for less humidity in the air).

MFFL ???

Does that mean Mavs Fan For Life?

Me, I think I qualify as a MFWF. That would be Mavs Fair Weather Fan. Ha!!! But that is because I have complete loyalty to the Dallas Burn--been to nearly every home game since the inaugural game in 1996! Not that anybody else noticed there was a game...

The weather report says "Mavs Kicking Sacratomato Butt" so I'm happy...

When I was at Goodson Acura dealing with the repair shop, Susan Tableman showed me her new TL-S (she is my service rep who does all the Comptech installs, gets me the Super Blue, etc). Anyway, she put the CT exhaust on it and it looks great but sounds even better. Nice a quiet at higher RPMs but really low and deep at 1-2,000 RPM. More like a 'stang than a ricer pipe. I had never heard the CT exhaust on the TL/CL so I didn't know what to think. I was highly impressed, regardless of the gains on the dyno (1-2 hp???).

I love the look of the CT exhaust, and they sound is very subtle I think. I just don't want to pay $500 for 2 mufflers. Maybe I will down the road, but not now.

Civic, sorry about the bad luck. Make em pay big! Any chance we can get together before the race date.
I have a new Cat. on order that seems to be the most restrictive part of my exhaust. Next headers!

What a game!

Even thought the Mavs looked like the same old Mavs vs the Kings, they never gave up.

Looked like the Kings were the tired ones most of the night. I think they didn't sleep well and were looking forward to whipping the Mavs in games 3.

Let's hope this tires them out even more.

Yup Mavs Fan For Life

Civic,
sorry to hear about the car, it'll be good as new soon

Danny,
i'll be on vacation for the next two weeks, but i'll hit you up when i get back to take a test drive. hopefully headers will be in the near near future.

Mantis,
sorry to hear about your friend, sometimes things happen with no explanation. it kinda makes you step back and look at life from a different view when things like this happens.
Wow 130 mph!! how did the car feel? pretty solid? I've been up to 120 on the George Bush tollway and it felt really safe, unlike other cars that i've been in at that speed.
