Well... due to a crappy manager, I no longer work there as of the 4th of Jan. I'm trying to get my own shop opened up. It's just taking some time to get a building. I gotta have something big enough to put a limousine lift in it. I'm going to try and take over the market in Dallas with Limousines. Theres only one guy, and he sucks. Plus I can work on anything else there too

How's your gorgeous Legend coming along?

By the way, does it bother you that there isn't a sub-forum designated for Legends? Or for Integras and Vigors for that matter?

It REALLY bothers me...a lot of the pretty Acuras I see are the older models. I want to ask them to join, but since there's nothing delegated for them, it'd be pointless! I thought a website like this would welcome every last Acura ever made...

Went to the DFW Auto Show last Friday and snapped a few pictures. New mustang looks ugly. Escalade is fugly.

I can appreciate the greater differentiation from the Yukon Denali this time around, but the GMC would be my choice of douchewagon if I were in the market. It's the least forced of the triplets IMO.

The STi looks good in live light. The WRX is on my list of potential CL replacements in the coming years, so that bodes well. Like the TLX too, but while it's reportedly shrinking back to around 3G TL size, I'm wanting something smaller and nimbler.

For me, 'worst of what you've photographed' goes to the face-lifted LS. Grafting Lexus' current aesthetic nose onto a previous-aesthetic body makes it look disjointed in a way I don't think a flagship car should. The Genesis is more convincing. At least on the outside.

Travis is the bomb-diggity. He aided me in pointing out this really annoying "wind-like" sound that I kept hearing inside the car. While driving my car with all 4 windows rolled up, it kept sounding like their was wind-noise entering my cabin from the passenger front door.. My car is a salvage rebuilt title so I always thought that maybe something was bent and was causing the wind noise.

I met up with Travis one night to drop him off my TL-S spoiler that I bought on craigslist to get painted. As soon as my car was near him he already heard the noise and knew something wasn't right. Pointed out to me that it was my tensioner pulley so I went ahead and bought a new Gates Auto-Tensioner + serpentine belt on eBay for $75 and installed it myself.

Everything is quiet just like it should be now! I probably could have gotten away with just buying the pulley that was causing the noise but I just wanted to replace the whole unit anyways.

Also when I went to go pick up my painted TL-S spoiler he went through the trouble of lining the whole spoiler up with heavy duty double sided 3M tape and even installed it for me. I was planning on picking the spoiler up and going home to install it myself but boy did he make things a lot easier for me.

Travis if you ever open your shop, I know where I'm going to take my car for the timing belt service.

yes please let me know where this shop will be. Travis maybe you can figure out this rumble sound I have since hitting a curb. Sure I broke something loose in there. Everything seems structurally sound but I can hear something moving around in there.

It wasn't too bad...unfortunately I think everyone was on the way out when I got there. I got there around 3 and ended up having to drive back out there from Allen due to a Harmonic Balancer in my buddies SC300 giving out. That was a fun 190 mile round trip drive.

Not disgusting as in personal tastes. Disgusting as in finger marks & what not everywhere.

It & the other 3 allocated to us needed extensive detailing.

Hey! Welcome to the forum, as Jessica said i know someone who can install it... myself! Things are pretty busy with me right now, so it might be a few weeks before I can get it done. Bought a shop, moving out of my apt, school, family coming into town, and all kinds of other stuff lol. Anyways, we are in the process of setting up a TEXAS meet which will probably be in Austin. And all of you are required to be there! I think a few ppl are meeting up tonight in Addison if i'm correct. How does a meet around the middle of next month sound?

Eventually there will be. Don't think we have an exact day planned out yet for a formal meet.
